Used to be a flat bear, just a Jake these days.

Okay! Hi. Yes. Wow - it's been a while?

So first of all - You know how everyone says they're coming out of quarantine a different person? I thought I'd take that to the extreme. Over the course of last year I came out as trans-masc, and started going by Jake. Jake really fits. I couldn't tell you why. When I hear it, I know it's my name.

Anywhoo. That's the big news. Other news is that I quit the comic book store, and don't have anything to do with comics as an industry or a fandom anymore. I casually consume movies and tv shows (the new marvel stuff is p dope!), but the print industry isn't something I can give my emotional or physical stamina to anymore. And that's okay!

These days, it's all K-pop for ol Jakey. I drank the BTS koolaid last year, and that's where I devote my fandom energy.

I'm trying to get back out into the world. I shut myself off for a long time and all it did was destroy my mental health. But I'm out of my coccoon now, and beautiful butterfly etc, and I'm ready to roll.

So! If you want to stick around, lovely!! I'm starting to draw again, and hell I might even post some of it. There might be a little comics fandom, but not much.
