The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until either you turn it off or the car battery dies. This tip came from a neighborhood watch coordinator. Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this: It’s a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the key fob chain. It works if you park in your driveway or garage. If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break into your house, odds are the burglar/rapist won’t stick around. After a few seconds, all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal won’t want that. And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there. This is something that should really be shared with everyone. Maybe it could save a life or a sexual abuse crime.

Coraline PopCulture Curse

Button Eyes Self-Suffering Curse

In Coraline, the buttons are used to bind the souls to the Other World and the Other Mother (Beldam), but in our spell it’s going to bind the person you’re cursing with their own actions. Any suffering they try to give to others will come back on them, reflected in their dark button eyes.

You will need

A poppet (any small doll or tied up rag will work)

Two dark matching buttons

Black thread

Needle

Candle

Light the candle while keeping in mind the person you want to curse. Think of all the things they’ve done, and that they deserve those things to happen to them.

Take your needle before you thread it and pass it through the flames, once for each letter of the person’s first name (ex. Coraline, you’d pass it through the flame 8 times.) please be careful not to burn yourself, let the needle cool before continuing.

Thread the needle and tie it off however you like to, then hold the poppet in your hand. Place the buttons on the ‘face’ and picture the face of the person you’re cursing.

Sew the buttons into the ‘eyes’ of the poppet, imagining your person feeling their own pain stabbing back into them. They will not be able to give anything out without feeling it themselves.

Once the eyes are sewn on, place the poppet in a cardboard box (an old shoebox or smaller) and place it in the darkest corner of your closet, letting them stay in that Other World where they can’t bother you anymore.
