Emily POV

“Listen I do love my boyfriend my problem is that he keeps on eating my food,” I said face timing my younger sister

“Don’t you eat his food too,” Aliyah asks

“So what if I do he shouldn’t copy my bad behavior. He shall be PUNISHED!” Emily said in a menacing voice

“ Why are you telling me this?” Aliyah asked

“Because why not inform my sister about my evil plan,” Emily said with a smile but Aliyah rolled her eyes and hung up immediately

Yeah she totally hates me

Earlier in the week Emily but a bowser costume and had a mini piano that she recently took from Aliyah

Emily had the costume on and even prepared a late one version of the song

“Babe come down!” Emily shouted and Hawks flew down the stairs

“Yeah are you doing your weird performance?” Hawks asked and wasn’t even surprised to see her in a bowser costume

“Wait is this about the-“ Hawks was shushed by Emily

“I have my special performance for you and it’s time for me to show you how I feel about you eating my food,” Emily says and prepares her little piano

“This one goes out to my one true love babe,“ Emily points at him and then points at a picture of a peach pie

“That beautiful peach pie YOU ATE!“ Emily took a breath and started singing

“Emily that pie was bigger than you head,“ Hawks said but Emily shushed him

“Oh peach pie you was so good and just by looking at you you made me drool,“ Emily then jumped on a chair and Hawks just chuckled

“Oh peach pie yeah understand I was gonna eat you like a gremlin,“ Emily said acting like she had a microphone in her hand

“Peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches. I loved you,“ Emily sand with such emotion that even Hawks was surprised

“He said peaches so many times so let’s skip to the next part,“ Emily said fast forwarding the song

“Again that pie was big,“ Hawks reminded her but she ignored him

“I had an bunny(Mirko), a fire dad(endeavor), and a arsenal hacker (Snipe) too, but I also thought no one could keep me from you,“ Emily jumped off the couch and was on her knees banging her fist on the floor

“Oh dear beautiful pie at the end of the line that bird boy stole what was mine. Oh no!“ Emily sang standing up and looking at the bird

Hawks seemed too interested in the song and she just looks away from him in the most anime like way

“Love can really make a girl go bowsong- okay I couldn’t think of a joke that would actually fit there, so we’ll just end it there,“ Emily said and shrugged her shoulders

“Woo! Go Emily I love you,“ Hawks says while smiling

“So does that mean no more eating my food?“ Emily asked

“No that just means I liked your performance,“ Hawks responded and Emily sighed

A young girl was on an earth dragon flying in the air

An older woman looked away feom the child as if she wasnt her own

A villain were battling heroes nearby so they both went past as if nothing was going on

“HEY WATCH OUT!!” Someone shouted and the woman was suddenly engulfed in flames as a nomu came after her

The lady then burnt the nomu to nothing but ash as the others looked at her for a few seconds before continuing fighting

The woman then noticed how the child was missing

“God! Where did you go now?” The woman askedherself angrily

The child was standing over a criminal and untieing it’s victims one by one

The criminal smirked and was about to attack her but the child moved a away and flew right above it where it used a blade to stab it in the neck

“EMILY!” The woman shouted and the child looked up at her smiling

The woman flew towards her now not being engulfed in fire but instead smoke

“You could’ve hurt yourself. DON’T do that again!” The woman ordered and Emily didn’t listen instead he bowed at the people who were looking her

The woman took Emily and flew off

Present day

“Same place I fought the villain and was in fact the same place I realized I loved to entertain others,” Emily says putting her hand in her pockets while slouching in a cushion

Emily was inside a modeling agency with Hawks and they were both bragging to each other about what they accomplished

Hawks was interested but didn’t believe she did all of that

“So your telling me at the age of 5 you not only saved a bunch of people but defeated a criminal?” Hawks asked in denial

“Well yeah, what’s wrong with that being true?” Emily smirked

“Cause it’s not. The only reason I can tell it’s not cause if you ever did something like you wouldn’t brag about it or mention it at all,” Hawks admits and Emily was embarrassed

“Fine fine I’ll admit how it truly ended,” Emily gives in

Emily was tied up in a string and was being hung upside fown beside a building

The woman turns into what was looked to be a fire dragon

She flew towards the criminal before punching him and knocking him out

The woman was able to turn her right hand into water and help slip Emily out

“Weeee!” Emily said excitedly as she slipped out

Emily flew off and untied the rest of the people while the woman rolled her eyes

“That’s my mom and she’s a hero just like me,” Emily bragged and started walking backwards trying to moonwalk

“She’s just as cool as my dance just now,” Emily continuously brags but The woman grabs her by her shirt and flies off

Present day

Hawks was laughing at her

“Listen I five years old of course I’m not gonna be able to save the world,” Emily pouts while looking away from him

“ But you caused more drama and even thought of yourself as some hotshot just cause you was walking backwards,” Hawks laughs even harder

“My moonwalking is way better now. It has definetly improved over the years,” Emily says when a producer came by

“Okay, you two need to get in the car now. We have a new place to shoot the commercial,” The producer says smiling sheepishly

“Commercial?!!?” They both asked

“We were told it was only a photo shoot,” Emily says confused

“Yeah since our main guy is out Hawks will replace him, it’s the reason why you two were here for so long. The commercial needs at least one guy,” The producer said and brought them outside

“Never agreed to this,” Hawks states by the producer ignores him

“Wait what commercial are you talking about?” Emily asked

“That smoking kills awareness stuff. Something like that,” The producer said and they both got in the car

“I only came to do a simple photoshoot now I’m also doing a stupid commercial,” Emily put her hands on her head

“THE COMMERCIAL IS IN THE WOODS!” Emily shouted

“Yeah, sadly the concept of Hawks photoshoot AND yours is gonna take place in the same area, because we are temporarily banned from where the commercial woulda took place. But hey you two get to be closer right!” The producer said in a happy tone while Emily just looks at her

Someone escorts Hawks away and she sighs realizing this won’t be an easy day

Emily walks inside the cabin and it was pretty... Wait it’s a church

“There was an old abandoned church inside the cabin. We overall have no idea what it is but it closely resembles a church so you and your crew will be nuns. Take this costume and put it on cause it has nothing to do with what I just said,” The producer hurried, and soon enough Emily was in her costume

“Why am I little red riding hood? This has nothing to do with thd fact that there is a church inside of a cabin,” Emily asked not expecting someone to respond

“To get acknowledged and accepted by the black community. Also as soon as the director says action you will run and a camera will follow you,” Emily’s assistant said ignoring her second question and pushed her in front of the camera

A man was getting into a chair and Emily accidentally lost balance and started wobbling

“How funny. You act like there’s an earthquake just cause you see a fat guy,” The director said in a monotone like voice

“No no, you don’t understand I-” Emily was interrupted as the director shouted “Action!”

Emily ran away from the camera

Emily fell to the ground and backed away from the camera in fear

“Please don’t,” Emily said then screamed in fear

“CUT!” The director shouted

“That was pretty good acting! For someone who just came out of a comedy,” The director was angry with the way it turned out but Emily played it cool

“Then what do you want me to do?” Emily asked getting up

“I want you to act like your spreading awareness for smoking addiction and not how much of a bitch you are,” The director said and Emily rolled her eyes

“She went back towards the start,”

“Action!” The director shouted and Emily ran

“Cut! Why are you so close to the camera? Stop running like a child and run like your in danger,” The director commented and Emily clenched her teeth

Flashback

Emily was a 8 years old sitting on the floor covered in bruises

“The next time you do something so stupid I will kill you,” Avery yelled and threw a fireball at her burning her arm

“I want you to fight him as if you was trying to kill him not as some training partner,” Avery yelled and kicked her in the face

Avery got on her knees and squeezed Emily’s face

“You see all the marks on my face. They were made by your father and all those people who wanted to hurt me. DON’T BECOME LIKE ME!” Avery yelled at her and Emily nodded

Avery through her against the wall hard and started coughing out blood

Emily had tears running down her face and but didn’t make a sound cause she knew there was hell to pay

“Don’t you ever let yourself feel weak. Ya hear me. Once you’ve proven to me your not weak I’ll stop this all. I’ll even take away your quirk,” Avery smirked not even looking at Emily

“I love you, Mommy!” Emily responded as Avery stood up and looked back at her

“Don’t call me mommy,” Avery said and left the room

Flashback over

“ACTION!” The director said and Emily ran as if she was in danger

Emily tripped over a rock and hit her head against a log and causing her head to bounce back (basically when All might threw Deku and he bounced off of the truck)

“ I always screw shit up,” Emily said to herself letting a tear run down her face

“Why am I not dead?” Emily asked

“Because I protected you from getting a concussion,” Mio said and Emily sighed but instead started coughing

“Why do I always... Do this?” Emily asked and just closed her eyes trying to take a break

“Cut...” The director said quietly

“That was perfect. You finally got what I wanted,” The director praised

Emily looked away and smiled

“Next time this happens I suggest you fight with violence,” A voice said

“Was that you Mio?” Emily asked

“I didn't say anything,” Mio responded

Emily turned to her left and saw some girl was staring at her

“Who the hell is that?” Emily asked

“Aw shit! That’s my fiance,” Mio cursed

“FIANCE!” Emily shouted in shock

Years Later

Everyone was quiet in the room and Courtney just looked at Emily then back at her notebook

Courtney sighed and prepared her questions

“While I ignore the fact that Mio has a potential wife. Emily are you sure that you are fully and I mean FULLY okay if we talk about your um… background?” Courtney asked hoping for a yes

Emily was quiet and looked away from her

“Uh yeah,” Emily responded

“Okay Emily I totally understand your resentment towards your mother don’t you believe that it is somewhat getting worse over the course of time?” Courtney asked

“My relationship with Avery hasn’t changed since I was born. I.hate.her and you can’t change my opinion on her,” Emily said in a serious tone

“Emily I can tell when your lying it’s my quirk and just cause you do something certain when you lie-“ Courtney was interrupted

“WHAT! I’m not lying I truly do resent Avery she ruined my childhood-” Emily was interrupted

“That’s why you always send her birthday cards, try your best to give her money, and even visited her when she was in jail,” Emily couldn’t deny that fact right then and there

“Also you forgot it’s my quirk to figure out when you lie and tell the truth,” Courtney continues and Emily just sighs

“Me and my mom has always had bad blood ever since I turned 4. Thought I was grown enough to the point I didn’t need to feel loved,” Emily admitted

“What made you feel like she stopped loving you?” Courtney asked

“Because she…hurt me. When I was a baby I was always treated with respect and was raised to be perfect. After I got my quirk she just started to hurt me and just dissect me,” Emily explained and Courtney was surprised by her words

“Wait what do you mean by-“ A timer went off and Emily got up to leave

“Wait where are you going we still need to finish this question,” Courtney told her but Emily just left the room

Angela/Emily was sitting on a bench leaning onto Hawks shoulder

They were both tired after a stupid criminal they had to run after just to randomly give themselves up in the middle of the chase

“ I’m not doing this Hawks I broke my back just to catch that criminal,” Emily says squeezing her eyes shut as she takes a breath

“I know Emily I was there too,” Hawks says just as tired

“ I worked my ass off just for him to give in. Do you deal with this kind of drama too?” Angela asked

“Yes and I’ve been doing this for way longer time than you so I know the pain,” Hawks admits

“ Why did you become a hero? Your young and deserve to live an amazing life. I’m doing this for the money,” Angela asked not expected his answer

“I just wanted to protect the world and meet my idol. The game and money was the Cherry on top,” Hawks adds a smile

“Now you making my reason for being a hero seem so selfish,” Angela says and stops leaning on Hawks

Angela stands up and stretch

“Well you really needed the money so I don’t think of it as something selfish,” Hawks says and gets up

“Good for you now you gotta kill a woman named Aoi Kimura she’s in a club not to far from here. Its called cow club for a reason just go and kill her I’ll keep watch,” Angela whispers as her eyes stop glowing

The man nods and walks the opposite direction

Angela flies on a building above and watched as the guy turned his arm into a drill

“Job well done,” Angela says and sees with her blade how the rando stabs the person with his quirk causing chaos around him

Angela flies away from that situation and lands on the rooftop of her apartment

Angela sits on the ground and groans

“I need a little break,” Angela says to herself and leans against railing on the roof

Angela breaths in and out and sees girl walk by

“Damn she’s fine,” Someone says

“I know right,” Angela says and turns around fast expecting someone to be behind her yet no one was

Angela was confused because she thought she heard something

“Then who-“Angela was interrupted by the voice again

“Shit!” It cursed and it seemed to come from all around her

“God I’m hearing things,” Angela says to herself and held her head

“Just to think I thought I was being watched,” Angela sighs but then heard something again

“I wasn’t watching I was just keeping quiet. Not like it really matters,” The voice said again and this time Angela got annoyed

“Who are you?” Angela asked

“I can’t answer that,” The female voice said

“Why the hell do I hear you?” Angela asked

“Cause you stole me,” The voice responded

“What do you mean by stole you?” Angela asked

“Exactly how it sounds. I don’t remember who I am but I do know that I’m in this body for no apparent reason,” The voice said

“Okay so wait a minute are you a person?” Emily asked

“Yes,” The voice responded

Emily sat down and leaned her head against the railing

“This makes no- wait a minute are you a quirk?” Angela asked thinking she finally understands

“Born as a quirk so yeah I guess so,” The voice says

Angela was quiet for a minute but The voice explained further

Here’s how her quirk works

In the future Emily with call this woman Mio even though her real name will be revealed in the future

Mio is a combination between a living quirk (Think of it as a literal shadow) and a human who has a quirk. Mio is literally part quirk and part human.

Mio was born as a quirk with a human body. Her human body was just a shell protecting her and making sure she lives, since needs the basic structures in a human body to live

The only thing is that even though Mio has a human shell Emily stealing Mio means the her human body/she’ll is out there somewhere without it’s host

“Are you you sure your human? And not from another planet like Klyntar,” Angels jokes with a serious face

“Venom joke I get you, but no I was born on earth. But the quirk is a lot like venom with the kind of abilities it has,” The voice says

“Okay what are your abilities?” Emily asked

“Okay… my quirk is called shadow defense meaning my entire body is protected from anyone using their quirks on me. My dad’s quirk is being really strong, and being able to really jump high but the speed comes from how fast I am in general. Sadly the only way I can even have my dads quirk or even be come strong enough to use it is to eat a lot of meat,” The voice explains

“Mhm I’m understanding. Can it be any type of meat?” Angela asked

“Yes as long as it’s meat it’s edible and delicious to me. Doesn’t really need to be cooked just need meat… even human meat,” The voice responds

“Okay before I go on with my day I need to give you a name,” Angela shakes her head slightly hard and keeps on hitting herself cause she thinks she’s gone insane

“Any name would be great as long as it’s a Japanese female name and not some Chelsea and Barbie kay,” The voice said

“Your name is Mio cause just cause your in my possession but still I’m going home and calling out sick,” Angela says and flies off

“You know you can’t shut me up. I still want to know why the hell you stole me?” Mio asked

“You really do talk a lot you know that,” Angela says while flying away from the rooftop

“ I want my body back and I’m not gonna shut up unless you bring me back,” Mio demands and starts whining

“I don’t know how any of your boyfriends or girlfriends would want to handle you,” Angela flies off and lands at her agency

“ I bet you there’s probably a lot of people who would want my body and my personality,” Mio blurts out

“Yeah cause your probably some skinny model who sells her body for a living,” Angela tells her off making Mio scoff

“So you just call all women sluts?” Mio asked

“Only the woman who annoys me gets that title, even my ex doesn’t deserve that title and she was both a nut and very annoying,” Angela admits and walks inside her agency

“Wow how very rude of you to talk about your ex like that I still treat my exes with respect,” Mio says with an attitude

“Still surprised someone actually dated you,” Angela walks into an elevator yet Mio still continues to talk

Courtney is hitting Emily with a pillow while Emily is trying to get away from her

Emily hid behind a couch while Courtney prepared the pillow

Emily poked her head over the couch

“You could’ve started this entire session by saying you are the daughter of a freaking villain!” Courtney breathing heavily as she is tired after attacking Emily

“Yeah well I didn’t know I still had his quirk till then. Now I’m trying to be real careful cause I can accidentally steal a quirk at any moment,” Emily explained and Courtney threw a pillow at her head

“What does that even mean?” Courtney asked calling back on the couch taking a breath

“My mom is a scientist who learned how to take away and give people quirks. As soon as she found out I had the quirk it took her years to even create the formula that could take it away,” Emily explained while going back to the couch

“I thought she took away 100 percent of it not no 90 percent,” Emily continued

“Do you still have Mio inside you?” Courtney asked

“Hello Court!” Mio said in her shadow form

“Okay Mio, let me understand this. Are you just a quirk with a human body or just a quirk?” Courtney asked

“I’m a quirk with a human body. See when I was born I was born as a shadow basically the form I’m in now and I needed body just to do basic stuff. My human form is also like a shell I use just to blend in. Without my shell I can’t live life since I’m nothing but a mere quirk. So since she stole me I can’t function unless I have a body/shell to work with,” Mio explains while crossing her legs

“Your kinda like a turtle. You having a body is like a turtle having a shell since they can’t live without it mainly because they are fused to it. Besides the fact that your obviously not fused to a body you still need one to live life in general and without it your dead,” Courtney explains and Mio just nods

“Whatever the doctor says,” Mio responded

“Ew! I have a reptile inside of me, why couldn’t you be a mermaid I wanna be like Halle Bailey,” Emily says reminiscing about her

“Mermaids are evil just like sirens you watch too much Disney,” Mio scolds

Emily walks to a cat cafe cause she needs something cute in life

“Welcome to JP Entertainment I’m Ayaka Wild Where we spread our opinion on the drama while also spreading it ourselves,” Ayaka says as an intro screen plays

Emily was never interested in drama because she knew damn well she was the drama

Wherever Emily goes she has to know every little detail about everything thing interesting or she will explode

A waitress goes to her table where a cat pops up next to her and sits on her lap

“Hello I would like a mango boba tea with a mochi donuts please?” Emily asks and the waitress writes it down

“Okay and would you like to donate a dollar to charity?” The waitress asks

“No- Ouch!” Emily looks down and notes that the cat poked at her hand

“I mean Yes,” Emily says and took out a dollar to give to the waitress

“I’m not a fan of children and I quite frankly don’t care if they die cause they’re poor or cause they’re abused. Shoulda died at the womb makes life easier for them,” Emily says to the cat while holding it up

The cat pokes Emily again making Emily pout.

Emily flew off where there was another with bags of money

“Okay great there’s another criminal here let's see how I can work with this,“ Emily says and shoots another arrow at the criminal

This time Emily shot an arrow with some sticky elephant toothpaste but as soon as she shot the arrow the criminal moved away and instead the arrow went into an innocent civilian got in the way

When she cut it’s head off her blade cut a pole and it was gonna fall on Hawks

“Oh my god where the hell am I?“ Emily asked genually nervous

Claps cancels out her voice and cries for help

“This contestant will have 3 different questions to answer per round in order to get the wordn needed for the final round where she’ll create the question for us to answer,“ Simon says and Emily stopped shaking as she thought about what they just said

“Note there are no manipulation allowed, no screaming allowed, and no looking allowed,“ Simon says

“How the hell can I look if I'm blindfolded?“ Emily asked but Simon ignored her question

First round is TV shows

“Dora the Explorer has a certain cousin that got their own spin off series. What is their name?“ Simon asked

“Diego,” Emily answers and some weird applause sound’s surrounded her

“Why does it sound like it’s coming from everywhere?” Emily asked herself

Next question

“ In the popular l Disney series ‘Kim Possible’ who was Dr. Drakken sidekick?” Simon asked

“Who the hell is Dr. Drakken?” Emily asked

“Oh come on Emily you got the series main villain… but if you want a hint it’ll cost ya,” Simon suggested

“Wait wasn’t that a hint already?” Emily asked right back

“ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!” Simon shouted and Emily responded

“I don’t know! That señor senior guy?” Emily asked and suddenly a bunch of boiling hot water falls on her

Emily’s wings popped out and protected her head but in the process gets burned

Emily was about to scream in pain but stopped herself and just groaned

“Correct answer was Shego,” Simon says and sighs

“You know Emily if you keep on answering wrong we’re gonna have to punish you and you won’t be able to win the special prize,” Simon informed and her and she scoffed

“What if don’t give any shits about your prize and I just want to leave?” Emily asked sarcastically

“ Well of course how you feel wouldn’t matter the only thing that matters is how this competition ends,” Simon says as he explains the final question

“Since you answered the question incorrectly you won’t be able to get the last question of this round of the special round time to go to the next round,” Simon says and Emily new that hell was coming

After two more rounds of all of this Emily was so close to really going insane

“Okay I answered all the questions just let me go!” Emily begged

“That’s adorable of you to beg but we still have one more think for you to do,” Simon says squeezing Emily’s cheeks

“All I need for you is to tell me the question and I will answer the question,” Simon was now talking in a baby voice

“Your asking me who is someone but I don’t know the name. How can I answer this question if I don’t have the clue?” Emily asked but then she felt him pull her head close enough to the point they were just inches away

“If you get this wrong I will pour spiders on your head. I know how you are to them. If you fail I will kill you,” Simon says slamming the wall behind me

“I need the fricking clue in order to know the answer,” Emily says crying at that second

“Please just tell me the clue I let you do whatever you want with me. Please, just don’t kill me,” Emily says and Simon licked the tears off her face

“You’ll do whatever I want right?” Simon whispered in her ear

“Yes anything to stay alive,” Emily says

“I want you to first kiss me then I want you to join us,” Simon whispers

“Yes anything at all. Just let me free,” Emily says tears still running down her face

Suddenly she was unlocked and Emily’s arms felt so tired and was hurt

“Simon she already said she was joining you still wanna continue?” Another voice said but Emily recognized that voice

“I know that voice are you Elliott’s son uh… Ken?” Emily asked turning her head the same direction she heard the voice

Simon lifted Emily up and had her against a wall and started kissing her neck

“Simon! You said-“ Ken was interrupted by Simon

“She said she would do whatever I want so how about you give us some room,” Simon suggested

Soon Simon kissed her but oddly enough it was soft it wasn’t as rough as he was when he shot her

Dropping Emily on the ground and himself as of well.

Emily took off the blindfold and saw how the room looked and it surprised her

The room was multicolored but it had blue almost everywhere

She saw that she was locked to some giant x in the middle of the empy room

But of course right above that x was a bunch of spiders running around in a glass container

Emily fave turned white thinking that she was almost dead but lucked out and survived

Emily looked down and recognized Simon as her ex’s brother

“Wait your Sofia’s brother? Why would you… do this?” Emily asked getting off of him as she sees Ken pointing a gun at Simon

“Because you betrayed her…” Simon says moving away from the two

“You made her think you loved her when in reality you only wanted her for popularity,” Simon says

“I loved her I only broke up with her because she cheated on me with someone else,” Emily admitted and Simon was shocked

“Change the channel I don’t like this stupid soap opera,” Someone else said and everyone turned their attention to someone

“I told you to play a simple game with her using a little violent twist but instead you not only got the girl crying, your sexual desires got the better if you, but you also threatened to kill her when the whole point of having her was so she would join us,” The man said

“Oh my god your Elliott. Why do you want me?” Emily asked falling onto her knees and crawling away from the men

“Is this all because of Sofia? I’m sorry but she’s the one who hurt me so I left her. But she wasn’t the reason why I left America,” Emily admits and starts to cry again

Simon gets up at her and looks at her in anger

“You lying BITCH!” Simon yelled and throws the glass container that had spiders in it at her

But then some vines grabbed it and pulled it up before it can hit her in the face

Emily looked up and saw a guy with a stichted together mask while holding the containter

Kenji what are you doing up there you could hurt yourself again

“I’m fine I can’t hurt myself while I’m i’m up here,“ Kenji said and Elliott walked to Emily

Emily was already backed up in a corner and was crying so the only thing she could do now was pray again that she wasn’t gonna die

To Emily’s surprise Elliott put out his hand making Emily look at it in more fear

“Take my hand I want to show you something,“ Elliott says and out of fear Emily did as he said

They left the room and arrived outside where people were staring at them

Emily was terrified as to what was gonna happen next but the two stopp moving and Elliott looked at her His tall physiquw scared her and made him seem like a powerful person and a leader

“Look to your left and what do you see?“ Elliott asked and Emily wiped away her tears just so her vision wouldn’t be blurry

It was so weird. It’s like Emily left Japan and made it into an entirely new dystopia

“Wait what is this?“ Emily asked in fear as to how she got there

“Don’t worry angel your still in Japan just an underground version,“ Elliott says with a smile

“When Hawks calls me angel it’s cute and makes me happy but when he does that it’s disgusting. I don’t like this guy he is up to no good,“ Emily thinks as she fakes her smile

“Emily this place isn’t a normal town you’d find anywhere. This is what I like to call Clandestine,“ Elliott says

“A what?“ Emily blurts out

I had to use enough speed to the point that I won’t break my legs agains.

I got off the floor as Bakugou tried to blast me but I moved

I took out my wings- Well what was left amd sharpened them

I prepared my skates because I wasn't gonna hold back

I didn’t even notice but my eyes turned yellow as I went and used my speed

As I rolled towards him I used my skates to not only kick him in chest cause if I kick him in the face I would kill him especialy with how fast I was moving

As many time as Bakugou moved out of the way and blasted me away I was still able to get a few hit on him

As long I didn’t let him think and kept attacking him I was good suddenly

As I threw a blade at I used my speed to move away but then Bakugou somehow knew exactly where I was going and blasted me

That blade left a cut on his arm and now I realised the only way I was gonna win was if I killed him or at least knocked him out

“I already know your going for my neck you can knock someone out if a blade goes into someone's neck,” Bakugou said when suddenly I took out all of my remaining blades and ones he blew away and started to attack him with them

I have up to 40 off those do to the fact that they are handheld blades and how big my wings are

“Yo leader knife make sure they keep him distracted while go after him kay,” I assigned and it went around Bakugou staying far enough from him where hd couldn’t attack it but close enough to watch the other blades

My knives/blades can’t talk but they do have a mind of it’s own which is why if you ever become the holder of this quitk you must make sure you have a leader knife/blade to that is prepared to always watched the other blades

The leader blade/knife is the most valuable one not only because the knife if connected to a core body part like the other blades and if it breaks I could potentially die but it's connected to my heart and I could have a heart attack if it breaks

I stay in my and go on my knee and watched as my leader knife/blade goes farther and farther down until it signals me to go for below

Everything after that was all in slow motion because of how fast I was moving using my quirk

I sped and went through a small space but then I saw him again raise his gauntlet up towards my face but he just barely missed me as he blasted a few blades away

He kicked hit me in the jaw but I was able to oush through it all

I was able to kick him in the face with my rollerskate I could see him close his eyes as if he was knocked out

My leader knife/blade came from hiding and went into my hand I saw Aizawa standing up

I still have a chance at winning I can’t have him stopping it now

I saw him barely open his eyes as I swung around him and wrapped my legs around his chest tightly but then I heard a crack and I dropped my blade

Bakugou fell back and now he was laying on me which made my leg hurt even more

Bakugou was knocked out laying on my chest while my leg was broken

I pushed him off and saw my leg was in the wrong direction

I had to lay back down on the ground because of how much pain I was in I was literally crying just cause of how scared I was

The last time I tried to go that fast I did break my leg but that was back when I was nine years old

After that incident, my leg was healed but not all the way it needed to make a full recovery

I was sitting next to Bakugou waiting for recovery girl to give me a past

“If it wasn’t for your stupid rollerskates I wouldn’t be here,” Bakugou muttered

“Just can’t even admit the fact that you lost,” I teased

“No one won because Aizawa said we tied!” Bakugou clapped back

“God, you listen to that emo man like get over yourself we all know I won,” I said smirking

“Dumb ass no freaking won get that in your thick skull,” Bakugou said and flicked my head

“I could kick you in the skull right now and kill you,” I said, and he growled at me

Yeah since I was still breathing I was being carried to arts class by Bakugou

“Well Bakugou I didn’t know you was such a sly fox,” Midnights teased and we both reacted with a disgusted face

“I like men not boys,” I said glipping my hair back

“She’s too ghetto for me,” Bakugou said and that surprised me

Not because he called me ghetto I already know I am but that he used it correctly in a sentence is just astonishing

It looked brand new even though this book was created when Emily was just five

This was originally a journal Avery made about the different kinds of quirks out there and what they can do but just mainly the kind of quirk they are combat wise whether they’re useful or not

But Avery did a whole research about a certain kind of quirk where one of them was black whip for sure

As I was flipping through it I saw a few pages talking about AFO yet they were ripped out

I ignored those pages knowing they would only bring back bad memories.

I kept going until I read something that said OFA

“This is it,” I said to myself and read as fast as I could but then someone entered the room

“Aliyah we have to talk about something,” Midoriya said to me and I looked up at him and closed the book

“Midoriya why didn’t you tell me?” I said putting the book away

I walked up to him and he was confused

“What do you mean?” Midoriya asked acting so naive

“Why didn’t you tell me... That you got your quirk from All might,” I said to him and he was in fact shocked with my words

“Midoriya your quirk is One For All and I know it too,” I said while holding him by the shoulders

“I-I-I-” Midoriya styttered the entire time propbavly confused on how I knew that

I saw behind him was Bakugou and I could tell he was listening on as he was walking into his room

I pushed Midoriya away and looked at him angrily

“How could you not tell me something like this?” I asked him angrily

“Because it has bothing to do with you!” Bakugou angrily says and was about to slam the door shut but then I caught it and slammed the door back open

“Bakugou you're my best friend and I guess it’s been so long but nothing will change that between us. Same goes for you Midoriya. I don't my own best friends keeping secrets from me,” I said to both of them

We were all quiet everyone starring away from each other

“You are all going into my room to discuss this situation and exactly what you two know!” I demanded then held both of their hands

“Because y’all are like brothers to me and I love you both,” I said in a calmer tone

In the end we all did go into the room but we got to learn more about each other

Even though Bakugou always had to fight with Midoriya but I still know that they see each other like best friends

Emily’s POV

It all started right after Christmas when I was trying to prepare for New Years. It was gonna be something special because I thought that Hawks would finally open up to me especially since I opened up to him about me not actually being a nice person.

“Yeah Hawks. I actually don’t have a high pitch voice and in reality I’m not a pick me girl,“ I said to Hawks revealing my real voice

“Yeah I know that. I follow you on TikTok and YouTube so I’ve heard your natural voice especially around your sister,“ Hawks said with a smile

“If you knew why didn’t you tell?! What if I strained my voice and you could never here me talk again?!“ I asked angrily

“Well it wouldn’t be so bad,“ Hawks joked just to get a reaction out of me

“WHAT!“ I scowled at him

“I mean you talk so much you never even notice when show off your deep voice,“ Hawks says and I was embarrassed

April 23rd

I had a day off from work while my boyfriend was getting ready to leave

“Wow even I don’t leave this early what’s the rush Hawks?“ I asked him while stretching

As I saw him put on his hero outfit he made a face when I called him that name.

“What you want me to call you by something else? Like birdbrain, chicken head which is an adorable name cannibal, or munchkin-“ I was interrupted by him

“Just call me Keigo it’s my real name,“ Hawks said and I just nodded not realizing what he just said

“Yeah cause I was scared my second quirk would scare you as it did with others,” I said smiling nervously

I have two quirks that only a few people know about Metalic wings. Mental manipulation where as long as I talk to whoever I’m physically interacting with I can mske them do whatever I want. I have a third quirk that only my family knows about including my therapist. But only metallic wings can affect my physical appearance so what quirk do I have that scated him off and that he don’t know about?

I asked myself that question the entire day pondering the question of what he saw?

While I was in my hero suit I saw a criminal coming towards my way. I grabbed her by the wrist and she turned to look at me

“Hey I suggest you-” I was interrupted as the girl started to scream while looking at me

But then I saw my hand turn black including my glove and that scared me

I saw in my reflection as some black stuff on my face disappear.

I jumped and accidentally let go of the criminal and she ran away

“Okay that’s it I’m going to Courtney,” I said to myself and flew off

I found her playing old maid outside my agency with a few kid

“Yo Court we need to talk,” I said to her and she rolled her eyes

“You know I’m not gonna be free every second of the day your gonna need to solve your own-” Courtney was interrupted by me flying her away

We flew to the top of my agency. Their I looked around and checked for anything and found a little camera pointing in away from our direction but I knew it could hear

I didn't want to fly anywhere else due to the fact I needed that person to listen on but not tell them directly

“Yo Courts turns out my “quirk” got a new “update” amd with that “update” it can change my physical appearance in some way,” I told Courtney facing away from her

Courtney understood someone was listening so she played along

“No way your “quirk” got an “update”?Do you know where it came from?” Courtney asked

“ It came somewhere. Probably after running into someone... While “talking”,” I said to her leaning against a railing

“ Okay, but do you even know what the “update” is?” Courtney asks

“Not at all. I was hoping I could show you and you could at least help me figure that out at least,” I explained to her and turned around facing her

I took off my hood and face mask with only one more mask just barely covering my face

I took a breath and tried to let it out.

“Can you see it?” I asked her and Courtney giggled

I tried harder and Courtney started to laugh louder

“Emily you look like your taking a shit what are you do-” Courtney was interrupted when I suddenly threw a blade in her direction and ran towards her

I stopped right behind her and caught the blade right before it sliced her neck

“Who the hell do you think you're talking to? Bitch,” I whispered in her ear Courtney flipped me over but I was able to land on my feet

Courtney pulled out her gun bt noticed something was wrong with it

“Whay is it so-?” Courtney soped when she heard something drop

Courtney saw as I dropped all of the bullets in the gun on ground and kicked it off the roof

I put my hand in my pocket and smirked while looking at her

“The names shadow. I’m quirk that deflects other quirks. As soon as someone uses something that’s not a quirk to attack me it will go through me and hurt my holder,” Shadow introduces itself

It was like someone else was controlling my body it was insane. I saa through the reflection of Courtney’s glasses that my eyes were purple

The color purple symbolizes evil and it symbolizes my father. I was born with his quirk and my mother habe always resented that hell even I resented that as well. All I ever wanted was to fight back against that evil and become something good. But instead, I became the person my father aslways wanted me to be. That’s why as soon as I saw the color purple I attacked myself.

I started screaming I started banging my face againt the railing

“Leave me alone LEAVE ME ALONE!” I started screaming my head was hurting but then I did the unthinkable

“Emily calm down,” Courtney begs as she runs towards me

I saw my arms turnung a black-ish purple and it just broke me even more

I took out my blade and started stabbing myself in the arm. I looked up at Courtney who was trying to stop.

I saw my eyes were a glowing purple and then I stabbed myself in my right eye... lid

After that day I realized one thing. Never have sex before marriage

Hawks knew his life would never be the same after becoming a pro hero. He promised himself that joining the commission was something that he would do out of the good of the world. But nothing good came from ruthlessly killing people, spying, betraying, etc. Nothing good ever came from this job not even the day off felt right because it just meant he had to prep for some longer work trip he would have to do. It was the fourth of July and Hawks was let off early which didn’t settle right with him. Hawks was going to his favorite place to go to when he was going through tough times when suddenly he saw a figure there. It was dark so he couldn’t see how the person looked. Hawks could tell it was a girl but the girl was holding something in her hand. That’s when he realized.

“Hey is that a blade in your hand?“ Hawks asked and he could barely tell but the girl turned her head towards him

The girl looked at him confusingly

“Excuse me but I’m actually trying to kill myself here and your not helping,“ The girl says blatantly and points the blade closer to her neck

“ Now if you don’t mind I’m doing something here,” The girl says with sass

The girl takes a breath and was about to slice her neck when Hawks stopped her again. This time using his feather

The feather made her drop the blade off the building and the girl scoffed

“Why are you trying to do that? Sure the world may be shitty but not so much to kill yourself,“ Hawks says with a little attitude and walks to her while the girl sucks her teeth

“Buddy I suggest you mind your own business. If I wanna kill myself then I’m gonna besides you don’t know what I’m going through,” The girl said with attitude and moved away from him as he moved closer to her

“Who says suicide was ever the solution maybe you just need to talk someone or at least get someone to listen to your problems,“ Hawks tells her softly as she sighs

The girl puts her hands on her head as she closes her eyes tightly

“Are you okay?” Hawks asked worried

“NO! My mom kicked me out and my grandma won’t let me stay in her house cause I have to pay to stay but I used my money to move here to Japan and now I’m pretty much broke and alone,” The girl says all at once and Hawks can tell how much emotional pain she’s in

“ I just want to live normal- be normal. My life is just dog shit and it progressively have gotten worse the older I got cause I don’t have control over my own life,” The girl says and Hawks walks to her

Hawks rubs her shoulder and nudges his hand off softly

Hawks didn’t get a clear look at the girl’s face but he accidentally got his hand stuck in her hair

“Boy what the hell?” The girl said turning around and Hawks moved along with her head

“Why the hell are you touching my hair?” The girl asked turning around a little trying to take his hand out

“Didn’t know your hair was like a bear trap?” Hawks asked and The girl was shocked with his response

“It’s called having black hair of course it’s not gonna be as manageable your hair,” The girl responded taking his hand out of her hair

“ Your hair is probably unmanageable because you don’t know how to manage it,” Hawks responded and the girl slapped him in the face

“How about you worry about your hair and I’ll worry about mine! Got it!” The girl says angrily and Hawks was surprised

Girls don’t usually slap him they send him fan letters and confess their feelings towards him

But her slapping him was weird to him especially since it was coming from a girl

“Wow.” Hawks says shocked and the girls faces him

“Listen man I’m so-“ The girl was interrupted by him

“I’m not used to girls just slapping me. They usually send me fan letters or roses just talk about how much they love me,“ Hawks points out and he couldn’t tell but the girl was weirded out by what he said

“Good for you but I was actually gonna apologize-“ The girl interrupted again by Hawks

“It just was something I wasn’t used to sorry. But still it’s very rude of you to use violence you could go to jail for that,” Hawks said again and the girl rolled her eyes

“Actually I slapped you for a very good reason,” The girl stops talking and immediately jumps on the railing

“What are you doing?” Hawks asked but she ignored his question

“I slapped you because you was being an ass and maybe you deserved it since your stupid ass needs to realize your not that special,” The girl says and leans off of the building

Jumps down after suddenly a bunch of lights from below shines bright and he suddenly sees something white go the opposite direction he was going

“HEY LOOK UP!” The girl shouted and Hawks looks up to see the girl with white wings upside down in mid air

Hawks was surprised by the way she looked. Because of the bright lights above them they were able to see each other clearly

A yellow skinned girl with white city hair and grey almond eyes look back at him

While The girl was smiling at him Hawks was just mesmerized by the way the girl look

The sounds of “Happy Fourth of July” surrounded the two as Hawks finally came to realization

“Wait a minute didn’t you say you were broke?” Hawks asked and The girl turned right side up

“ Way to ruin the moment birdbrain,” The girl says crossing her arms

“Are at you Emily Sheresko?” Hawks asked and the girl rolled her eyes

“Yes and?” The girl admitted with one eyebrow up

“Are you you freaking kidding me? You are a model, a actress, and Jpop idol. How did you go broke?” Hawks asked very interested

“That is a personal problem that and would not like for you to get involved,” Emily says while crossing her arms and facing away from him

“It just makes no sense for a celebrity to have such jobs and be broke. Like what you go on shopping sprees for a living-“ Hawks says and gets another slap from Emily

“ Somebody needs to attach a mute button to you cause you talk to damn much. I don’t have any money because the company we work under is going broke, and the money I get from acting or modeling was either used to travel here or was given to my parent,” Emily admitted then sighs

“Oh I’m sorry I was just interested,” Hawks also admits

“Interested in what?” Emily asked confused but then Hawks puts his hands on her shoulders

“What in the touch starved?” Emily said out loud

“Interested in you besides I wouldn’t mind going out on a date with a lady such as yourself,” Hawks says and Emily just cringes

” Are you sure it’s not just a kink of yours?” Emily asked

“What no I genuinely wanna go out with pretty bird as yourself but if you wanna take it there we can-“ Emily puts her hand over his mouth

“Please don’t continue that sentence I don’t wanna hook up and I don’t want to date you. Your too cringey and again your a bird brain plus I’m not surprised be only see you because of your looks because you make it seem that way,” Emily admitted and Hawks clenches his chest making Emily remove her hand

“Oh my gosh are you alright?” Emily asked

“That hurt so much the pain is so real. It can only be better if I was to get her number maybe I wouldn’t be in so much pain,” Hawks says batting his eyes

“Damn how desperate are you?” Emily says taking out her phone and showing him her number

“Thanks dove,” Hawks says with a wink and Emily rolled her eyes

“Well you were annoying me it’s not cause I actually like you,” Emily says looking away in defeat when she suddenly remembered something

“Hey since we are considered winged friends come on I wanna show you something,” Emily said grabbing his hand and flying off with him

“Where are you taking me?” Hawks asked

“It’s not something satanic or weird I promise. I just remember seeing it and the this is the place to go and see it,” Emily says and they soon fly into the clouds

Hawks was mesmerized by what he saw and well what was going on entirely

It was as if he was an explorer and Emily was a Forrest and he was trying to explore every part of her the good and the bad

Emily let goes of his hand and flies through the clouds

“Wait!” Hawks calls out and follows her but she was gone

Hawks moves from cloud to cloud trying to find her

When suddenly she popped up behind him and scared him

“Boo!” Emily said and laughed at him getting scared

“ How did you-“ Emily was able to tell what he was gonna say

“ To pop up behind you even though there I was in front of you? A magician never reveals their secret,” Emily playfully says with a smile

Hawks smiled as well because of how nice it was to be free from everything and just the thought of an adventure was pretty cool to him

Hawks looks away for split second and sees underneath a bridge there there was a door

“What’s that?” Hawks asked interested but Emily was confused herself as to what he was talking about

“Um it’s a bridge,” Emily says and looks down at the bridge below them

“No I just saw some people go into a wall,” Hawks says and Emily pats his head

“Okay birdbrain I think it’s time for you to go to bed,” Emily chuckled but Hawks was serious

Hawks grabbed her by the hand and took her underneath the bridge

“Hawks you probably saw some people use their quirk. I don’t think it was anything,” Emily says and as the two land there were men in black arguing

“Wait a minute I recognize them,” Hawks said quietly

“Oh god I’m already around too much people we should really-“ Emily stopped and screamed as soon as she saw a spider

Emily jumped into Hawks arms and held onto him tightly cause she was scared of spiders

“Hey! Who are you two?” A men in black asked but the other stopped him

“You really had to scream?” Hawks asked and Emily was breathing heavily

“ I’m very allergic to spider if one bits me I could possibly die,” Emily says squeezing him as she looked away from it

Suddenly the two here’s a loud bang and Emily looks to see the spider next to her dead

Emily gets off of Hawks and sees from far away how smoke was coming from a gun

“You didn’t need to shoot the bug,” The older man in black said but the other scoffed

“Didn’t ask for you to respond dad,” The other says and the two walks towards Emily and Hawks

“Ah our dear friend Hawks. How nice of you to come,” The older man in black said and hugs him but behind that little smile of his Emily knew it was fake

“Wow Hawks who’s your tall friend?”Emily asked also faking her smile as well

The tension between them all was visible and The old man decided to ease the tension

“My name is Elliott Martin and next to me is my son Ken,” Elliott introduces himself and his son and Emily notices how his son keeps on staring at her but then looking away

“Nice to meet you all I’m Emily Sheresko” Emily introduced herself to them

“ Emily I remember you your grandmother mentioned you and said very interesting things about you,” Elliott said and that’s when Emily’s nice voice started to sound a little weird

“Oh really and what is it that she told you. If you even know my grandmother?” Emily asked with a deeper tone in a voice

“That she is the face of 100 heroes and that the idea was actually mine and not hers,” Elliott admitted while. Emily hummed an ”hmm”

“Dad lets not get into right now,” Ken said walking away from them

“As my son said we should really get going, but Emily if you ever want to talk here’s my card,” Elliott said and winked at her before walking off with Ken

The winged buddies flew off and Hawks gave a little look back before flying away

“Well Hawks I really gotta go but just follow me back to the city and we can then go out separate ways,” Emily says and Hawks nodded understanding her

“Okay basically that’s how I met Hawks. Just happen to have a moment,“ Emily said to a blonde woman in front of her

“Okay... But we need to get to understanding the truth. About who you really are,“ The blonde woman commands in a calm tone

“Well you wanted to know my story, right? I’m only telling what I think is important for you to know,“ Emily looks away from the blonde woman who fixes her glasses

“Emily you said it yourself that it’s time to reveal to everyone who you really are. If that’s so then I suggest you explain the whole truth even if it’s the unsettling or gruesome. We need to warn others,“ The blonde woman says

“Fine! But just note I’m starting from here- you’ll understand later why I did start from here,“ Emily leans back against the couch

The blomde woman looks at her with nothing less than an annoyed face.
