I’m so happy I quit my job and started picking up a few days at my grandparents shop to help out but man this week has been crazy.

Their landlord has doubled their rent and their shop is two shops combined so they’re having to get rid of one of the sides of the shop, forcing them into closing down one side of their business. So now I’m helping them clean out a shop that has been around since before I was born. How the fuck are landlords allowed to do this and how the fuck has our government let this happen. Small businesses are dying and I’m deeply saddened to see this firsthand and see the pain of my grandparents. They’ve had this shop for 23 years. They were looking to sell it to retire and this has just turned everything upside down.

Ngl I rip the packaging off most my products because I hate the idea that packaging influences consumers brains.

Just ducked into chemist warehouse to restock all my necessities and i genuinely need a spa treatment after walking into that headache of a store.
