“Would you like to see them sometime?” Astraia asked it, as if she had read its mind. She didn’t, she had just guessed.

“Do you want to lie down? I wouldn’t mind if you rested for a while.” She said, wanting it to go to sleep if it needed to.

“Oh… Hmm. How do your rest your brain, though? Do you just turn it off?” She asked, sounding a little silly.

“I see… I think I kinda get what you’re saying.” Astraia thought about helping Aster somehow, but what could she do? She wasn’t a tech whiz.

It looks at her, before realizing he was looking too long. He mumbles as it looks away.

“Hm? What’s the matter? Do I have something on my face?” She asked it, touching her lips to make sure she didn’t have anything on them.

Astraia secretly wondered what would be like to not be human. Maybe then things could have been different… But she didn’t know if she could tell Aster that. So she asked him, “The Programmer was the one that turned you into that, right?”

Was he about to take the bag off? She thought about telling him it was ok to do, but she didn’t want to make it uncomfortable.

”4-4nyw4y5…” it tried to think of another conversation starter, but its mind drew a blank.

“Is there anything else you want to know about me?” She asked it, deciding to try and break the ice again.

“Oh, fun facts, huh? Well, let me think… I have a few interesting pets! It’s almost practically a zoo, really.” She said, deciding to bring them up.

”Wh47 k1nd 0f p375?” It tilts his head curiously as he asks. He never had a pet before, but they always seem like fun to have.

“I’ll warn you, they’re not the normal kind of pets you’d expect someone like me to have, heh.” She said.

She grinned and replied with, “Well, for starters, I have three dragons. Two of them are normal and one’s a big water dragon.”

“Yeah! The two normal ones are still little, but they’re getting bigger! Plus, they’ve been doing pretty well with their fire.”

“A little bit. But the pocket dimension in my bag is able to give me stuff for them and the other pets. I can thank my friend for that, heh.” Astraia said, smiling a little as she remembered the day they gave it to her. She did hope they were ok wherever they were…
