So, as most people probably expected, Soul won the Oscar.

Okay, so I have a headcanon that Ian was scared of the Manticore mascot at the Tavern. It evolved into he was terrified of it as a toddler, and the memory got more or less repressed, which is why he forgot the Tavern exists. It was made as a goofy headcanon at first, but the more I look at it the more I think it's plausible. You saw Ian's reaction when he was hugged by the mascot in the film, but did anyone catch his face after Barley finally got the mascot to let go?

Yeah, I think Ian may have a some trauma 🤔

I have this headcanon where Barley just randomly grabs people and hugs them. His mom and Ian are the usual “victims”, but it could be any of his friends; he sees somebody and just runs up and hugs them and spins them around, like “Hug time!”
