My one disclaimer is this is a kin server; we do welcome gladly systems, but as long as you are ACTUALLY a kin. Unfortunately, we've had issues when fictives mix with kins, and it can make everyone involved uncomfortable. I've had to explain what being a fictionkin actually is to systems previously, which is frustrating when our server's whole purpose is for kins.

(want to emphasise this is NOT a roleplay server, I just had lots of fun themeing it. it was very kin affirming </3)

I was discussing headcanons for JJK characters with other fictionkins, and they mentioned how they headcanon me (Gojo) as a trans woman and insisted it was canon. I'm certain it was a joke and not that serious but it just... irked me. A lot.

The best example I can think of is the fact that I kin Ryoumen Sukuna- one of my strongest kins as well- and due to that I kin(?) Yuuji and Megumi as well.

It's not because I literally WAS them (I think, the memories are muddy), but I was them in a different sense; I was in their bodies, in their souls. I had their memories, their experiences. I WAS them. Especially being in Yuuji for so damn long, my sense of self had become murky.

It's hard maintaining a sense of "you" when your being is trapped in the living embodiment of sunshine and rainbows- sharing eyes, sharing a body, a mind. I think even in this incarnation, being in Yuuji for so long and being suppressed by his soul for so long has left a stain on my soul. That's why I don't say I kin Yuuji, but I was him in some degree.

There's always that sense of self I have, that knee-jerk reaction of "omg thats me," but it's very likely not. I fear I always have to kinsider Yuuji and Megumi at LEAST once a month haha.

As someone whos been hyperfixated on JJK for the past few years: YEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!

As a JJK kin: im absolutely terrified. im going to go through all the stages of grief LOL

The "hikaru" kin desire in me to have someone reach their hands into my vessel and feel the consuming void inside of me- and feel them back.

And also maybe crawl into them... just a wee bit.

Nothing ever really prepares you for the grief you feel kinfirming as a character. My first ever experience with being a fictkin and my first kin was Satoru Gojo. Mind you, I HATED Satoru at the time. I hated MYSELF!!

I was genuinely in despair to be him because like!!! What the fuck!!

But now that I've grown used to it and it's become a centrepiece of my identity, I now grieve the life I used to have. I miss Suguru, I miss my friends, I miss my students, I miss having my actions mean anything- I guess I miss being important? It's strange.

I was sooo overworked as Satoru, but now I miss it. If I'm lazy and slack off now, it doesn't matter. If I was lazy and slacked off then? People died. My choices mattered.
