Introductions; my name is Saige. Iโm 30 years old, non-binary, they/them or he/him pronouns, and Iโve been roleplaying since I was roughly 16 and have been on Tumblr since 2012. Iโve also written Zell since 2012. First and foremost, I am responsible for my time here, not you - just as you are responsible for your time here, not me.
This is my main blog and Iโm almost always lurking around. However my replying is pretty unpredictable on a scheduled. This is largely due to being diagnosed with ADHD and some nights my brain is less cooperative than others. I do try to not keep people waiting too long so if you feel that it has been a while, I may have forgotten ( also memory issues ) so donโt hesitate to give a gentle reminder.
I also have an unknown processing disorder. This means that if someone writes in purple poise - I cannot understand what you are saying and I canโt roleplay with you. I think the style is artistic and beautiful, but I canโt work with it. My processing disorder also effects my memory severely. I cannot remember every single individual rule for every single follower. If this is something that you are harsh to cruel to ablestย about, itโs best to not follow me. People make mistakes. People have disorders. It should not always fall on the disabled to accommodate the abled. Treat each other with kindness.

ใ๏ปฟ1. Zell canonically is seventeen years old. Roleplaying a character that does not age and stays stagnant is BORING and gives no chance for development. If aging characters bothers you, this is not the blog for you. Sometimes I will be writing him at 17. Most of the time I write him at 21, sometimes older. People age. Characters age. Zell is going to age.ใ
ใ๏ปฟ2. I can and enjoy roleplaying cross-overโs. I cannot and will not roleplay AUโs. It stresses me out trying to figure out who Zell is outside of his own world that it just no longer feels like Zell but an OC. I love cross-overs dearly. But AUโs where I have to build Zell from the ground up to someone I donโt recognize because his life in 8 shaped him to who he is just isnโt possible for me.ใ
ใ 3. Sexual and violent content will be written on this blog. I will not put sexual content under read-mores as it becomes far more difficult for me to read and follow and respond. However, my sexual content will be tagged under nsfw for ts if you wish to blacklist it.ใ
ใ 4. Difficult and triggering subjects may be occasionally referenced to written on this blog. I have a headcanon that Zell was raised in a patriarchal and conservative family with the expectations put on him he will marry to a woman young and have children. Sex before marriage was also heavily frowned upon in his family and caused him a lot of shame should he become sexually active. While him and his mother are very close and he is very protective over her, depending on development, biphobia will be present as she worries a queer life as a hard and scary life and wants her son to be safe, especially since she grew up in a very unsafe place. In time she will learn Zell knows what is best for Zell and will accept him being queer and polyamorous. His father accepted this from the start. I am not writing his family unit this way for shock value. I understand these subjects can be triggering and I will do my best to tag everything related to it accordingly. All I can promise is this hardship does have a happy ending.ใ
ใ 5. Dark, triggering, and / or taboo themes may also appear on this blog. I am willing to explore subjects providing the consent of myself and my roleplay partner(s) and if I feel it is within character. As for you yourself, I do not care what you write on your blog. Itโs your blog and as I donโt like to be policed, I wonโt police others. If I donโt like it, I wonโt follow. That easy; no harassment.ใ
ใ 6. ๏ปฟI have very few triggers, but one major one I have is comparing fictional problematic / taboo subjects to be the same as real life trauma.ย You are allowed to be uncomfortable and make yourself comfortable in your own space. In my space, I need that mindset away from my own mental health. I donโt like my trauma to be equated to something that doesnโt exist and canโt feel. What traumaโs those are, I am not comfortable disclosing, but as any roleplayer has, I reserve the right to unfollow or block to keep myself safe with or without notice. Do NOT keep approaching me if you are blocked. Since Tumblr can sometimes unfollow people, I do not mind being approached because that may very well be an accident in that situation. You can unfollow me for any reason and I will never pressure you as to why.ย If you are an anti / purity culture / fiction = reality - please donโt follow me for my own triggers and mental health.ใ
ใ๏ปฟ 7. I have a low tolerance for call-outs, vaguing, and toxicity. Iโm here to write and I want my dash filled with people who also enjoy writing. Occasional venting is one thing. Filling the dash is different. My dash needs to be a safe place for me. Anon-hate will have the IP blocked and it wonโt be answered.ใ
ใ๏ปฟ 8. Zell is non-binary and uses he/him pronouns. Zell is also on the asexual and aromantic spectrum. He cannot tell the difference between his platonic attraction for someone and romantic, even when harboring romantic feelings. I am open to shipping with all genders, but it will more often than not have to fall on the other person or a third party to be blunt with Zell for him to understand some elseโs feelings as well as his own. He cannot get to that conclusion on his own. Zell is also open polyamorous. Under the consent of all ship partners, I love these dynamics. Zell will also be in a closed relationship if his partner wants it and he can be in a monogamous relationship. He is still polyam though. Iโm not opposed to either.ย I do NOT ship with Seifer or Irvine.ใ

ใ๏ปฟ 11. I am not ageist against people who are older and people that are younger. However, assuming the age on your blog is your real age ( I'm not going to believe a stranger off the bat; that's just irresponsible ) and you are below the age of 18, no romantic shipping or sexual content will be written. Any pressure to do so gets a warning first, then a block.ใ
ใ๏ปฟ 12. Dibella and Shadoji have no place on my dashboard after gas-lighting to flat out lying about me and others well after I tried to part ways amicably and peacefully, but continued to accuse me and name-drop me on baseless accusations and their own paranoia. Be friends with who you want. Once again Iโm not here to police you and Iโm not about โsidesโ nor do I believe in guilt by association. However, my dashboard needs to be kept at my level of comfort and I am not comfortable seeing them in any way or form after being targeted for harassment. I have never in my 8 years of roleplaying on this site made a rule like this, and I hope I never have to again. This isnโt a rule to end a friendship though if itโs awkward not being mutuals I fully understand. ใ
ใ๏ปฟ 13.ย ย I am NOT ship exclusive or character exclusive. I will write with more than one version of the same character because everyone has different ideaโs and perceptions about who said character is. Same goes for shipping - the relationship will be different every time. I will not be exclusive with anyone so for those that are - Iโm sorry but Iโm not comfortable with the feeling of excluding people and potential writing partners.
I also welcome people who write the same muse as me; so many are so lovely and since we clearly love the same character, Iโm sure we have more in common and things to talk about~ ใ

Relief flutters across his face when Zell throws another question his way. Glad the blond feels safe enough to express concerns to him instead of going behind his back, Squall relaxes. Arms fold loosely over his abdomen and he cocks his head slightly. โA peaceful solution for both. Despite years of progress, the public still see us warmongers. Unless they attack physically or worse than petty insults, we canโt move.โ
A short pause ensues before he adds, โTrust me, there are things Iโd rather be doing than listening to their shit.โ
Yeah, cause theyโre lining up the door to be peaceful and talk shit out.
It wasnโt going to happen, no way. As long as Garden existed, assholes like that were going to exist. The idea of just letting them spit on Garden without retaliation didnโt sit well, even if he knew Squall was right that an impulsive move like snatching one of their stupid signs and tearing it in half was going to do more harm than good.
โYeah? Like what?โ What hobbies did Squall have? That was a question, realizing he didnโt know what he did outside of his Commander duties.ย โBeats stickinโ around here.โ

Itโs the apparent attacking your own wife or team that has Zell concerned. If Xu needs a vacation she needs a vacation, or just sit a the desk and work from there. Like hell heโs going to suggest it though least that cup be thrown at his head.ย

Squall sighs. He comprehends his comradeโs perspective but also understands the other point of view. Regarding Zell with vague apology lurking in his gaze, he gives a one-shouldered shrug.
โThey have a right to protest. It has to be handled smoothly or the public might lose their trust in the Garden. Thatโll be worse than a few loudmouths.โ
โT'ch.โ Zell spits, confident heโs out of ear-shot of the curse under his breath and free to express his rage without looking like he is questioning his commanding officer. That was a bad look, unacceptable, and Squall was too good a leader to disrespect like that.
โSo whatโs handling smoothly mean?โ He asks, an honest question. Zell usually wasnโt one to get hung up on pride and ego, but if there was anything this boy had pride in almost more than anything, it was being SeeD. Disrespecting SeeD and Garden was disrespecting him.
Zellโs never handled disrespect well and still doesnโt, given how even with arms crossed his body is still giving small shakes and trembles.ย
โI have many other marks but coffee doesnโt burn me for very long. I heal rather quickly.โ
Her wifeโs wrath was easy to dance around and mostly survive compared to other trials she had face.
