“Curiosity is a good thing, but not usin’ that curiosity to get real answers just leads to a whole lot of speculatin’ an’ assumptions. you feel? Better to do somethin’ with curiosity than just sit on the questions an’ speculate. Although, if nobody speculated on anything, there wouldn’t be much of a rumor mill.” Jazz let himself lean with the tap, stretching to lay back completely. “Yep. Seems like there’s a multiversal brand of luck and skill with Jazzes that makes us hard to kill.” Not that no one has ever tried to kill a Jazz, or even that Jazzes were so lucky that they were immune to death, but a survivor’s will and an extensive skill set seem to be standard Jazz traits from what he can tell.
♪ “Assumin’ ain’t no fun, lemme tell yah.” He’d played that game once or twice. Unlike most mechs, however, Jazz had a good sense of intuition and it often played out in his favor. He offered the other a grin, visor glinting with a winking light. “Rumors are aiight, but there ain’t much to keep ‘em goin’ if there’s no truth to ‘em somewhere, yah feel me?” He chuckled, baritone voice radiating between his vocals. “I got a lotta reasons to really hate rumors, but they keep me interested in things sometimes. Besides, they’re useful if yah really need ‘em. Throws people off the trails and all.”
♫ He reached out, nudging his likeness in the shoulder plating, grinning wide with a beaming smile. “That’s right. You know why? ‘Cause we got style, mech. Untapped style. Besides, we got plenty of it to go around and no one can really kill style. Things are retro for a reason, my mech.”
