martyrix .
NO , NO . PLEASE , NOT HIM ANYONE BUT HIM . JUST … NOT MY CHILD . They told him to wait , begging that he might allow a medic to take lead . [ THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM , MY PRIME . THEY WILL BRING HIM BACK HOME . ] But he knew better , how they refused to meet his eye as they spoke with strained voices and dizzying pity . Terror , by the gods , is this how he is rewarded ? HE IS THE ONLY THING I HAVE LEFT ! DON’T TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME . NOT YET , GIVE ME MORE TIME . The Prime heaves a coughing sob , ragged and broken gasps flooding from his chest as he fights the hands that held him back , guarding him from the sight of the scout . But he can feel him , of course he would , he knows the fluttering field of the curled babe who found protection against his beating spark in the late night hours . The curl of rounded digits that sought his own to press his palm against his sparkling’s face and cooed in adoration . He knows , he knows , Primus , he knows .
“ BUMBLEBEE ! ” He screams . It sounds as if the moon is crashing into the sea , all the stars plunked from their heights and falling down , down , down from the heavens . And then he felt it . The plummeting drop of a spark and a hush that blanketed the world for just a moment before the Prime hurtled past the mechs who cried aloud , who wished to give him mercy from the pain .
He stumbled at the sight , a keen rising like glass to shatter with the drop of a single mourned note - no . He doesn’t know where to look , how to look at the mangled body . “ My boy … Primus , what have they done to my boy … ” His frame shakes with the effort to not collapse , rushing with maddened panic to scoop Bumblebee’s broken limbs and clutch him close to his chest . Static breaks through his throat , hiccuping waves that pushed his resolve as his field bursts aflame . [ i’msorryimsorryimsorryimsorrypleaseimsorry . ] His body curls as though to shield him from his own hurt , hands grasping at discarded plating as if he could fix him because he has to fix this , he can fix this , somehow he can fix this . But optics blink at the gargle of energon and his gaze trails to the scouts throat . “ I’LL KILL HIM . ”
Trembling servos cup Bumblebee’s helm , thumbs brushing to dip in staining energon that ran freely from a torn throat . Desperation fills him , and his voice quakes in devastation . “ I’LL KILL HIM , I’LL RIP HIM LIMB FROM LIMB . ” He tried to stop the bleeding , tried to piece him back together again . The medics murmured from behind , prying his babe from his blood soaked hold but he refuses to let go . He refuses to allow anyone take him away . His helm falls against Bumblebee’s , a soft clink amongst the chaos of shouts as he stares in dimming optics , digits brushing dirt and filth from his cheeks “ Please stay … please don’t go … ”
the sound of terror and pain unified in the room where chaos seemed to breed. the tension building up like a deteriorated damn waiting to explode. he could hear . . . he could hear. the voice that shook the earth in its own vehemence ‘ BUMBLEBEE ! ‘ . it rung through his helm in a way that nothing other could. dad ? dad ? a clear struggle was shown despite how weak he was. sure enough bee was in the embrace of his father. and just like that there was a burst of life through bees spark that could be read off the monitor . the medics seemed keen to notice it as well. bee was excited . excited to see his father . if affection could bee seen off his war - filthed and mangled face it would present itself in rising volumes. alas , with a body so desperate and pitiful , it was no home to hold such warmth and excitement. bee would be reminded of the pain and system failures . however a loving mind remained poised on his father despite what felt like ravenous flames all over his body. a gargle emitted from his throat as well as static that looked desperately for his voice. again, he was wordless . the room almost felt like a river had burst with in . suffocating and overwhelming. the fields that overlapped one another and all sort of mixed words we’re struggling to be interrupted with in bees sound systems . more fighter than soldier bee made it his mission to listen to what his father had to say. every single word cherished.
the medics we’re hardly bees problem as much as optimus prime was for them. in fact he hardly registered them. to him . . . this was it, so what was the point ? excitement and relief seemed to turn to guilt in a short lived moment . how the grief that took the one he trusted in most. the one who showed him what life was . . . how could he let this happen ? distress weighed upward on bees chest . while no words could come from the bot his brows rose upward on his face. a few blinks . primus, he was so tired. . .so tired . in the touch of their helms bee could remember much more then he wanted to. this was his father . . . the mech who brought his place to place with in his chambers . he could recall the time he would stay up through the night just to keep him calm. bees eyes remained fixated on him . . .through all its struggle his arm rose to touch his father back. shaking dangerously it struggled to keep form and depth . it was nothing but feeble , but all he wished to display was affection.
‘ please stay . . . ‘
[ i dont want to go. . . i don’t want to go ! ]
immediately to the thought bees vitals jumped and fell dangerously within his father’s arms. beeping and buzzing cried throughout every monitor. it took all the color out the medics who forced themselves to bees aid. he was held so tightly in a father’s grieving arms that the bot had practically to be pried. they couldn’t even pull optimus prime out the room entirely until the scythe had struck. a falling beep would flat line. optics buzzed and flared until ultimately cutting out like a flame . . . all left was a wisp of smoke. the room clattered in voices and demands. ‘ RESUSCITATE . GET THE PLUGS ! ‘ . there was no room for time wasted. and to hold optimus back was its own challenge. he had to stay back or else. the medics clamored bumblebees frame bringing pulsors to his pitiful engine. close to his spark .
‘ FIRE ‘ bumblebees body jerked upward in one pulse. ‘ no vitals ! ‘
‘ again ! ‘ bumble bees body repeated the motion. a ugly clatter on the table with tossing appendages smacking back. ‘ no vitals ! ‘
‘ more power, more amps ! AGAIN ! ‘ thrice . . . a week beep made its entrance. temporary relief coming onto everyone. bumblebees optics would light dimly though everything simply seemed blurry to him. . . he could barely hear . . . he was just so tired. . .
‘ optimus prime. im sorry but you HAVE to go right now we must operate immediately. we will bring him home’
