im trying to practice just. making stuff. without it having to be perfect. so yeah

the reference picture i used for this is actually a screenshot from that combat freeze frame picture taking event in genshin. it's one of my favorites of all the pictures i took!!

my take on the spy eye theory for kaeya :) it's fashioned after the eyes of ruin machines. also yes kaeya's hair is braided i LOVE giving kaeya a braid

this was the first time i used markers in literal years so it's not half bad, considering. technically i drew this specifically for one of my fics but this can also be interpreted as just regular canon kid kaeya

fuck it. old wip i never finished. thinking about redoing it maybe

sketch + lineart and base colors (the blues were not working with me)

also if youre thinking that hand on the sketch looks edited in, you are absolutely correct!

this sketch was originally pencil and paper, except the hand on top was drawn separately on folder paper since it's kind of see-through. i just slapped the folder paper over the rest of the sketch and drew the hand proportionate to everything else.

you could not have paid me to draw both hands on top of each other on paper. that's too many fucking fingers i'd go insane

then i threw both sketches into ibispaint, extracted them into black and white, and adjusted the hand onto the rest of the sketch. thanks ibispaint
