hi i told antonia abt my sw oc idea but picture an idealistic, young one-term senator who is elected after campaigning with the idea of uniting his war-torn world, ends up suffering heavy casualties during the outbreak of the clone wars, manages to unite his people out of hatred for him and he is disgraced and loses by a landslide, ends up bowing out of politics and tries to enact change through more... direct means, is still a Good Guy and just wants to help others but feels that through politics is not the way to do it
