actually no, seeing that finnrey comparison post with their “death” scenes in tfa and tros makes it even sadder for me because like it was right there!!! and lucasfilm knew!!! you can clearly see the romantic implications in each scene, and they made it even more obvious showing a devastated finn react to rey’s death through the force (the same way leia did with han) but then they just had to ruin it by showing rey prioritize kyloben for the majority of the movie and have them awkwardly kiss and cutting the scene with them holding hands at the end so its like well? what am i supposed to think. all i can do is weep at a ship with so much wasted potential
