Hei! I had an idea of letting my character Unto to show everyday life situations in finnish, but in the way I, as an a native speaker say things. (Meaning spoken language and lil’ bit of words from the dialect I speak. First one is an easiest way to order that I could think of, because you won’t need to conjugate any words.

Hi! Not at all, sorry for taking a while to answer!Sitä is the partitive singular form of se, siitä is the elative singular form of se, and sillä is the adessive singular form of se. Here are some example sentences that I hope will clear up the meaning of these words:Minä odotan sitä. - I wait for it. (certain verbs take partitive)Minä en ymmärrä sitä. - I don’t understand it. (negative statements take partitive)Minä menen kouluun ennen sitä. - I go to school before it. (prepositions take partitive)Sinä pidät siitä. - You like it. (”pitää” and “tykätä” take elative)Puhuitko sinä siitä? - Did you talk about it? (verb rections)Mitä ajattelet siitä? - What do you think about it? (verb rections)Hän kirjoittaa sillä. - S/he writes with it. (with something)Hän menee kouluun sillä. - S/he goes to school by it. (by something)That’s it, I hope this helps!

My language is so weird at times smh. I just typed saavuttamattomammasta and it looks like such a fake word that I had to stop for a moment to make sure that I didn’t mess something up. I didn’t. It’s an actual proper word that in the context of my sentence means “something that is more unreachable". But for some reason we just have to take all those elements and smash them into one word. Because Finnish.
This word is often used as an example of why Finnish is an interesting/rather bizarre language.
Juoksennella means “to run around aimlessly.” When you put it in the conditional form, it becomes juoksentelisin, which means “I would run around aimlessly.”
The suffix -ko signals that it is a question, so it becomes “Would I run around aimlessly?”
Finally, -han does not have an English equivalent and it can mean a few different things depending on the context. In this case, it just turns the question into “I wonder if…?”
