"Interest Convergence", I haven't heard that term before, will have to look into that a little deeper, but the idea of this terminology is correct, which makes me think of integration. Integration, we fought for it with our, blood, sweat, and tears, but it ultimately benefitted White people the most, whereas segregation took us down a road of prosperity, independence, and unity, which is why White people are arguing against Donald Trump's anti-POC actions, because they know how deeply it will affect them and their businesses. Just imagine if Trump was to invoke all-out segregation laws, then imagine how many "Black Wall Streets" would pop up, in every major city and beyond, and imagine how many White businesses would either struggle or be forced out of business due to the absence of the "Black & Latino dollar". Segregation laws would effectively be a self inflicted boycott of White businesses, and one thing White people desperately fear is someone messing with their money. Let's consider segregation more deeply, the revival of this concept for this day and age is very interesting and inviting to us, so much so that White people are ready to protest Trump's policies, and they have even as far to tell Black people to stay home on April 5th, because they got this one. Stay tuned in people, this is going to be quite interesting.
