In June, 2016 Pulse Nightclub in Orlando was hosting a “Latin Night” when the deadliest mass shooting by an individual was perpetrated (tragically, surpassed multiple times since), killing 49 and injuring 53. In early 2018, across the nation, in Shelton, Washington, Jennifer Kuhns worked with her high school students to create the first Diversity Mural, and in Orlando she and @LunaMosaicArts owner Cherie Bosela decided to create a companion piece in direct response to the Pulse tragedy. More than 1,000 hearts were collected by Bosela from people all over the world and the two mosaic artists have created this message of solidarity with the LGBTQIA community on the side of Lamp Shade Fair on N.
