Carter: She's the mother of my child, of course I'm going to fight for her. And you're my sister, I just want you two to try. One conversation.

Carissa: Why? Cause I know you love her, and I'm sure that it would be better for both of you and carter. so look I'm putting my feeling about her aside for your happiness. How is that disappointing?

Carter: Because you aren’t giving her a chance, Carissa! You have this thought in your mind that she’s a terrible person who isn’t allowed a chance and making things right. You have it it in your head that she hates you and doesn’t care about you. But you don’t care that it’s not true and you won’t try. You won’t talk to her. I thought you were better than that.

Carissa: Well, I live on campus with Harper for nine months of the year, a month back in london with mom and dad, I think I can deal with only being in the same house as her for two months. even those that would be a very long sixty days.
