𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐃𝐑𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 . not with technicolor leaking through the cracks of opened chests . treasure that came naught in silver & gold , but blue that glowed in such familiar ways that it made itself a nest within the cage of her breast . how pain could mingle with hope , become friends , lovers . she may never find the answer but every second that passes makes her a believer .
his words are dreams she manifested in a way to take her mind off the present . a reality she only ever saw behind closed eyelids , but the tears on her cheeks are proof enough she’s awake . proof that this isn’t a trick of the mind . the grip around her wrist burns , so much like her cheeks , like the sweet embrace of fire .
