If anyone had experiences with using their fists, it would be Eizen. “Otherwise your form isn’t too bad, kid. not much behind those throws but you’ll get there.”

       ❝ Of course! I’m sure it’s any girl’s dream to get that kind of gift! Seems impossible just now though! ❞ His words were true, after all a romanic girl like her is always fantasizing with that kind of gestures. 

“ Well, I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Just have faith, okay? Someone will give you chocolates for Valentine’s Day, I’m sure of it. ”

      Valentine’s Day is coming and chances to find a date for the occasion were below any expectations she have had in a while.  

      ❝ Hm..Well that’s fine, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting Valentine’s chocolate for yourself anyway! ❞  

“ But wouldn’t you rather get chocolates from someone else? I’m sure they’d taste a lot sweeter then. ”

rare were the times jude actively sought out trouble. he was more of a scholar than a brawler, even with his training and previous experiences, and his personality simply didn’t mesh well with the image of a fight-happy pugilist.

some people, it seemed, didn’t quite catch the memo.

and, so, that was how his morning spiraled from a simple routine into being dragged into a streetwide brawl, despite his best efforts to resist. if nothing else, he could simply hang back and get as little into the fray as possible. at least then he could save his energy for the inevitable aftermath, where he’d be able to more properly apply himself.

then an arm wrapped around his waist, and suddenly he was off his feet and practically clung to the waist of another as they charged headlong into the brawl. 

there went that plan.

“ Wow, this is a really bad break. ”

jude hadn’t quite expected to be treating a broken leg so early in the morning, but the man was clearly delusional. he’d been accompanied by a tall man with glasses - if he didn’t know any better, jude would have sworn it was julius in disguise - who simply watched as jude attempted to determine the exact damage. of course, the man’s constant squirming made that difficult.

the familiar face doesn’t surprise him this time. 

it was honestly more surprising that ludger was still here even after jude had been gone for what felt like months. the fact that such a fate could await anyone was jarring enough on its’ own, but to think that someone could be held here for that long... it just didn’t sit quite right with jude. 

given the choice, jude probably wouldn’t have come back here again. 

of course, he’s well aware that the choice was out of his hands, a decision made for him by people he’d never met and likely never will. he’s heard their speech before, about an experiment and all that. jude was well aware no sane scientist would engage in such an experiment - after all, i never would - but said nothing; after all, his words would fall upon deaf ears. 

not far from him, another male - taller and presumably a lot more irritable - groaned and surveyed the area. jude may have been rather exhausted from his travels, but he could still feel sympathetic to the plights of others brought here against their will much as he had.

look at this little egg. he’s back for round 2 (3?).
