I kind of really accidentally fell in LOVE with the very first apartment I looked at
- it would be the largest apartment Iâve ever had (650sq ft baby)
- great location
- not the one a dude got stabbed in front of like I thought
- buses go directly from this apartment to my friendsâ apartments
- itâs my old neighborhood but closer to a new neighborhood
- everything and everyone looked normal + clean
- didnât smell like roaches or mice
- floor was a material I could obsessively bleach
- Iâd have to buy more stuff to be able to use all the storage, like the closet could fit my bed
- window in bathroom so I could poop & vape at the same time if I lost my mind
- door opens to the long side & ive only had apartments with a door that opens on the short wide which makes it feel very narrow
CONS
- close enough to U street that I might interact with drunk college kids
- No fucking elevator, tho I think thatâs where the $100 less a month comes in
