A website gathering the talks from the fourth edition of Hack-or-di(y|e), the annual conference of HacklabBO. An HTML compiler was used, complemented only from CSS to prioritize non-js browsers.

A website gathering works from the Multimedia section of the Fine Arts Academy of Carrara, 2017. It was inspired from brutalist-websites, wandering-school, but is optimized for non-CSS browsers such as lynx.

Custom-colored Haohao is a series of generative illustrations made with a custom version of Ichitaro Masuda's Haohao code.

Dead Meat canon is a photographic series merging silk-foulards with an ancient canon for page construction.

Playstocene — an inquiry on algorithmic forms is a book documenting the work behind several projects: vargram, flipwers, POP, hypogeums of Hanoi and the Playstocene font.

The vargram is an algorithmically-varied version of the tangram. A simulation of the vargram can be found here.

Flipwers is a series of flipbooks compendiating some cinematographic appearances of computers throughout the last century.

The Hypogeums of Hanoi is a redesigned version of a mathematical game in which the player, moving a token per time,  aims to move the whole pile. This verson incorporates in its structure a rule which originally was not evident: players shouldn’t move smaller pieces onto bigger ones (the original orientation of the game is here reversed). Due to the case-structure, however, the illegal choice is rendered as illogical, as tokens thus moved wouldn’t precisely fit into the frame.

Monuments from the P is a series of illustration made for the packages of the Hypogeums of Hanoi. It was inspired from the legend behind the game,  the idea of planetary computing, artist Robert Smithson and videogame Proteus.

It was largely inspired by TDR’s posters, Microgramma typeface and was informed from this research.

Triangle random-walk is a draft on a series of generative illustrations bringing together basic shapes, colours and random-walks.
