Oily skin? 10 Steps to get rid of the oil (forever)
Fun fact, most people suffering from an oily skin type usually tries to fix it by using products that are really rough and strips your face from all oils - and as a result to that, your skin desperately starts producing EVEN MORE sebum for protection! A good example of these products are black charcoal nose strips and brutal cleansers.Â
Oily skin needs hydration and gentle, clean products - just all the other skin types!
However, having oily skin, often combined with acne, you have to be extra cautious about ingredients to look for and to avoid, and what stuff you put on your skin in general.Â
Remember, a skincare product is only as good as its worst ingredient!
Visit us and read the full article HERE to learn more about oily skin, what ingredients you should use (and avoid) to get rid of the oil in all categories (cleansing, serums, sunscreen etc), and which skin care steps are especially important for you, and much more ++:)Â We are science-based and only talk about well-proven stuff.
Dry skin? Learn how to really get rid of if!!
Most people suffering from dry skin usually tries to solve it by trying out tons of different moisturisers, or drown their face in oils. And it does kind of work (temporarily) by giving the feeling of a hydrated skin. However, it doesnât actually fix your dry skin. Your goal should be to have a moisturised skin even without any products on it. And when you accomplish that, youâll see the âhydrated skinâ-benefits like: more plumped skin, less fine lines/wrinkles, and overall a more glowy and beautiful skin. To get here, you need to follow three important steps:
Drink LOTS of water everyday, and eat healthy.Â
Use a clinical and clean daily cleanser, and sometimes an exfoliator, containing acids suitable for your skin. Often when people suffer from dry skin, itâs because they donât cleanse and exfoliate their skin in the correct way - leading to ÂŤstuffÂť (sebum, dirt and similar) sitting on your skin and being in the way for your skin to be able to absorb products you apply.
Using a clean hydrating serum. Serums penetrates deeper into your skin, so theyâre very important to use. Itâs mainly two hydrating ingredients that has a lot of studies supporting its effectiveness. One of them are hyaluronic acid, however what most people donât know is that hyaluronic acid should in general not be used by people living in cold/dry climate. But there are options⌠:)  Â
Visit us and read the whole article HERE to learn what acids and moisturising ingredients to look for for your skin type, and which to AVOID. And why hyaluronic acid isnât suitable for cold climates, studies and much moreâŚ++ :):)
