Russell's bolete γ Aureoboletus russellii
Lots of boletes on campus this past week, and these were particularly interesting. The hymenium was peeling away from the cap at the margins and a little earwig was resting between the layers. Some pretty robust specimens for this species. Lots of interesting textures.
