“ Fine, but socks aren’t exactly the most exciting present now, are they? Anyway, mum said she wanted to get you something you wanted not something you needed. Help me out here.”

Luke did always hate those. He never liked fluffy socks, he didn’t mind the color sometimes but he just wanted plain ol’ socks that would keep his feet warm without all the decorations. He scrunched his nose at the memory.

This was a particularly hard question. Luke didn’t really want anything else than what he already had. The boy stared at his brother in thought, trying to think of what could qualify as a Christmas present that was decent. “A new broom? New art materials? I’m almost out of oil pastels.”

he was utterly unrepentant, high on adrenaline, grinning and reaching out to give luke a little push before skipping backward, like a hyper pet wanting to play.

He was trying so hard to be mad at him but he knew that he was failing miserably with the smile that was making way onto his face. Luke should know better by now with him but that didn’t mean that he didn’t worry about the other boy. Sometimes when he caught him in dangerous acts, Luke felt his heart want to jump out of his chest from how nervous he made him sometimes. Luke eyed him a second and finally let his smile break through, he shook his head and crossed his arms before he stepped closer to the other He cupped his face with his hands and laned closer to press his forehead to his with a laugh. “What am I going to do with you?” He joked, “I think I always have time to worry about you, silly.”
