hi friends. i really hate to be making a post like this, but i have no idea what else to do. on may 21st early in the morning while spending time at a friends house, someone had smashed in both windows on the passenger side of my car. thankfully, nothing was stolen from my vehicle and i am safe. we are pretty sure it was a hate crime of sorts, due to my “i support trans rights” bumper sticker looking like someone was trying to peel it off, and the fact that my friends pride themed car magnet was stolen off of his car.

the bad news is, i now need to pay close to $500 to repair the windows because my car insurance will not cover the cost due to the cost being less than my deductible. i need to get my windows repaired as soon as possible because i am moving on may 31st. it is also unsafe to drive my car right now, and i need to be able to get to and from work in order to afford to move. i have no idea how i am going to be able to cover this cost because i simply do not have the money, and my parents are unable to help me out financially right now. if you are able to help in any way, thank you so much. if not, please feel free to share this post around. ( please, ignore my deadname on the below ways to help if you are able. )

Ayumi scrunched her nose in something akin to disgust as she felt the cat’s tongue lick her fingertips. The young girl’s lips curled into scowl as she opened the can of cat food she had gotten from her school bag. “Yeah, yeah,” she muttered under her breath, brown eyes making sure that the little menace was at her feet still as she prepared its food. “You know, if Jashin-sama accepted animal sacrifices, you would’ve been gone months ago. You would’ve been on the top of my list, really.” The words were soft and mumbled, and if anyone was close enough, they probably wouldn’t hear much of what she said unless they were focusing solely on her.

When asked if she was a cat or dog person, the forensic science student would confidently say that she was neither. She was an Akiko person and probably a Jashin-sama person. (For some reason, she considered adding Hiroto onto the list, but set that thought aside to examine later). However, her musings were broken as the feline circling her feet and rubbing its head against her ankles meowed at her. “Here, you little ingrate.” Ayumi crouched down, placing the now opened can on the ground before turning her head when she felt someone’s gaze on her. She narrowed her eyes when she’s met by the sight of a guy who looks oddly familiar. “Can I help you?”

elliot had just been out for a walk, grabbing some food from the store to bring back to the dorms. he had headphones in, humming softly to the music playing in his ears as he walked won the street. his footsteps slowed however as he noticed a girl crouched down in front of a cat. a smile came to his face as he shifted the bag to one side, yanking a headphone out of his ear with his free hand. he was a sucker for animals of all kinds really, it was one of the reasons why he had gotten along so well with koda when he had first transferred to ua. however, elliot got along well with most people. he was a kind kid, willing to strike up conversation with anyone.

brows raise as he’s addressed by the apparent cat whisperer, slightly shocked by how annoyed she sounded. huh, she looked familiar, like he had seen her before. but she wasn’t one of his classmates. “oh!! not sure if y’ can help me really. maybe if you could tell me the secret to get such cute little guys followin’ you around.” he jokes, taking a couple steps forward before placing the grocery bag on the ground. he reaches out, giving the stray cat a pet on the back of it’s head. “what a cute little guy huh?? d’you just kinda keep the cat food on you like that?? that’s a GREAT IDEA really. maybe i should try it. is that your secret??”

lavender was incredibly anxious, even if she was excited. it has been a big accomplishment for her, publishing her book of poetry and being accepted to go on a book tour. especially a tour overseas. lavender never thought that anyone would find her writing to be that interesting. but she was so thankful for the opportunity to travel abroad and meet people who enjoyed her works.

she was at a book signing at a small book store in australia, a small book store that reminded her of the one she owned back at home. this was her HAPPY PLACE, surrounded by books and people who loved them just as much as she did. everyone she had met had been so kind, and she was having a lot of fun speaking with them. she found herself falling into a rhythm, grabbing a book from the table, signing it, and handing it to the person standing across from her. she had been doing it for almost an hour now, and the actions started to feel more methodical.

“tuh - thank you so much for coming!!” she says, scribbling a signature down onto the inside cover of her book for the next person in line. brows furrow as lavenders eyes meet the others. there was something familiar about the woman, but she couldn’t quite place it. she pauses then, becoming a little bit flustered. “what ... what is the name?? YOUR NAME, i mean. suh-sorry!! did you ... did you want me to add-address it to uh ... to you??”

she beams at the other, arms extending out in front of her to present a plate full of freshly baked brownies. baking for others is how lavender showed she cared about them. after years of learning how to feed herself with her dietary restrictions, she found comfort in the kitchen. “huh-hey val!! i uh - i baked these for you. they’re uh ... they’re brownies, my fa-favorite recipe!! i th-thought you might like them!!” her voice is cheery, smile plastered on her face. “i hope ... i hope that’s okay!!”
