DEVOLUTION, my new project has finally been announced!  Written by Rick Remender with Jordan Boyd on colors, I can’t wait for you all to check this out.  And we even got a cover by the amazing Jae Lee!  I love his Wildcat’s Trilogy stuff.  

This is why I’ve been so slow on posting new work these past few months.  Been busting my ass on this one, and I hope you guys dig it.  

Everyone likes to complain when someone tags their hate, except when it’s about Rick Remender. 

All I wanted to do was go into the tag and reblog the post about him leaving Marvel. Instead, all I see are blogs saying good riddance, calling him a shit writer, and wishing he left sooner.

I wish he was staying around at Marvel, but the trend lately seems to be all about creator owned work. I would have loved to read the Thor story he originally had for Marvel Now.

I think this is best for business as I see Marvel and DC starting to be the “developmental” companies that helps build up writers that eventually build a fan base and takes them to their own work. It helps bring in new writers while letting established writers do work that they are passionate about.
