Gonna leave this world for a while

When she saw the video about the murder... It would be a lie to say she didn't feel nauseated. She may have felt sickened by the actual murder, Bella understood that deaths were inevitable sometimes. With the other information she was gleaning from other heroes, the information that was being picked up from her time in the different hospitals and other sources, she knew that there was a huge storm brewing. Being one of the top heroes, Keigo likely had far more insight into the entirety of what was going on than she did.

After the release of the video, though, she started to fear more for his safety. She'd seen the fire in the edges of the scene, knowing instinctively that something had to have happened when he took so long without speaking to her. The whole thing had her struggling to keep up. Anxiety kept her awake at night, not that she had much time to rest anyway. She wanted so badly to ask Recovery Girl if she knew anything. Seeing as Keigo was one of the top three heroes, it would make sense to have someone like Chiyo taking care of him… But it seemed as if she didn't know anything more than Bella did. That, or she wasn't sharing for one reason or another. It frustrated the redhead, but she didn't have the time nor the energy to fight it, really.

The day had been long, the curls she'd tucked into a braid and under a bandana had fallen mostly loose, her scrubs messy and unkempt after a long, long shift. Her makeup had lon gsince been washed off, lost in one of the many times splashing water over her face to keep herself going. Her phone was in her hands, still looking to see if there may be some chance that he'd tried to contact her. As she walked out of the hospital, though, she paused as it seemed like someone was looking at her. With how she looked, Bella wouldn't be surprised. Still, she lifted her eyes. At that moment, her phone fell from her hands. It felt like she was seeing a ghost. Hands lifted to rub at her eyes to confirm that it was real and then she saw him running towards her.

Tears welled in her eyes as she felt his arms wrap around her. He only held her for a moment, though, before she felt his hands shift to her face instead and his lips crashed into hers. She didn't know what to do with her hands, not wanting to figure out if she was just hallucinating or not. After a moment, though, her hands moved to gently rest on his chest, nearly falling apart at the seams when she found that he was there. He was actually there and real.

Once they parted, she took a slow breath and lifted her hands gingerly to his face. There were still so many bandages, but from the scarring on his face and the state of his hair, she could tell that there were more before. Bella almost felt like she was hyperventilating. Tears flowed down her face freely.

He was more than willing to give her time to adjust to everything. Seeing her so overworked made him want to take care of her a little. If she would let him. Keigo had to keep reminding himself that he wasn't exactly sure where they stood yet. It seemed like they were fine but he knew that may change once he actually told her everything. It didn't stop him from trying to dry her tears though. 

After a few moments, he pulled out his phone while keeping an arm around her. He had been missing her so much that he wanted to touch her as much as he could. Only it made communicating a little hard. He could actually talk but long conversations still strained his voice. The conversation he wanted to have with her was going to be a long one or so he believed. Therefore Keigo preferred to not use his voice yet. Thankfully, he was used enough to this that he could quickly type up a response. The AI was also smart enough to give his reply as he was typing too.
