SEND ME A ✍ AND I’LL INTRODUCE YOU TO A MUSE THAT I'D LIKE TO RP AS.
"Huh." Â Dustin watched the ground rupture like a zit, steam pouring out of it. Â He was a bit disappointed that it didn't whistle like a kettle. Â The ground rattled like an angry tambourine just seconds later, but keeping his balance was no problem for the earth ninja. Â "Y'know, I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen." Â The ground shook again. Â "Yeah, like, at least 85 percent sure."
"If you’re looking for excitement it’s best not to go looking for gunfire." He advised, shrugging his shoulders a bit at her next statement. "Probably teenagers doing it because they can, not really sure they were looking for a liable reason to have gullible people believe it was a gun being shot."
Her expression grew mildly unimpressed. Â "'Gullible' would mean that if you told me it was gunshots I would believe you, no questions asked. Â 'Gullible' is not what it means when I just can't differentiate the sounds because I don't hear them that often in a bakery." Â She feigned a thoughtful expression. Â "Though I guess by your logic, I can now declare you an ass because of this singular interaction, so it all works out."
"Sort of, mostly just live in a bad neighborhood."Â
"'Sort of' still isn't a no. Â More exciting than a bakery?"

Kitty shrugged. “I’ve heard enough gunshots lately anyway.”Â
She quirked one eyebrow, expression growing slightly expectant. Â "Exciting job?"
"Nothing but firecrackers." He said simply."Gunfire is far louder, trust me."
"Boooring," she declared in response. Â "They're already a couple months late. Â Why not just go all the way and use full fledged fireworks, then?"
"That was a firecracker, more pop than bang, and it was fairly short." Kitty said easily.Â
Louie pouted for a moment. Â "Well, damn. Â Here I was hoping for a bit of excitement. Â Now all I can say is that they're a couple months late."
"Hm. Â Firecrackers or gunfire? Â Which do you think? Â Try as I might, I've never grasped that delicate distinction."

Jason paused, hammer still raised, and peered down over the edge of the roof. Â "Uh, hey," he greeted, with a lopsided grin. Â The hammer thunked down beside him. Â "You need somethin'?"

…and are willing to share it with people that want to get to know you or RP :)
"Other people or just people in general," she asked, raising an eyebrow in question. "I know the world’s pretty fucked up, but you’re going to miss out on the good ones if you’re always hidden, yeah?" Glancing at her predicament, she slipped off her thigh high stocking, no regard for who might see and walked towards the tree. "Yeah, that might be good," she turned towards him, her eyes surveying, "And your shoes, so I don’t scratch my feet."
"Bartending makes it kind of hard to hide too much," he remarked with wry, quiet amusement.  He wasn't really sure how he was supposed to react to life advice from a stranger.  But then she was asking for his shoes, which made a nice distraction.  "My shoes?  What--?"  It took a second for it to occur to him that she probably couldn't climb a tree in heels.  "Er, sure."  He toed his shoes off.
Sofia was taken aback by the stranger’s response and felt instantly guilty. “Sir, I was only kidding. Honestly, I know it’s my fault,” she explained, holding her hands up in surrender. Pointing a thumb towards the tree, she motioned, “I’ll just try and climb up.” Her heels clacked on the hard cement and she hoped her skirt wouldn’t rip on the way up, but didn’t expect the stranger to stick around much longer.
"I, um. Â I was kidding," Mal replied sheepishly, scratching the back of his head with one hand. Â "I'm not that good at the whole 'other people' thing." Â He shrugged, as if to wonder 'what can you do?' and then glanced up towards the tree again. Â "I could maybe offer you a boost up, though?" he offered.
The purse hung from where Sofia had thrown it in frustration, and swung in the breeze against the branch several feet in the air. “I’m not sure,” she hummed, resting her hands against her hips and staring up. Dropping her chin, she turned towards the stranger. “What about you? You’re involved now, so how are you planning to be my hero?”
Mal quirked one eyebrow at her, sardonic expression hopefully masking the way his shoulders tensed nervously.  She was just being playful; she didn't know.  "What am I supposed to do?" he shot back.  "I'm a bartender.  My training involves mixing cocktails, sometimes in overly elaborate manners, and dumping drunk people off the bar top.  They don't teach tree climbing to bartenders."
"It’s not as though I did it on purpose."
"Never the less, it took some spectacular talent. Â What are you planning to do next?"
