i watched both seasons of the anime and read the manga of this series, it is still unfinished.

this is a slice of life, mystery anime with some romance so it’s not really for everyone (especially Solo Leveling fans💔).

i really liked this series and the characters are well-written

they keep trying to be normal people but always fail by resolving mysteries in the city

and i really liked the romance between the two main characters which is why i watched this series in the first place

characters: 9/10

the plot is no less impressive than the characters

between the two seasons there are many twists but i won’t spoiler anything

i really enjoyed watching this series even if it could be boring sometimes

I watched all the seasons, OVAs, the spin-off, and also read the manga.

I really liked the fact that it’s a parody of the isekai genre; it’s actually one of the few comedy anime that genuinely made me laugh. Because of that, I’m giving it an 8.5/10 for comedy.

This series also has great worldbuilding and well-developed characters.

We have four main characters: Aqua, Kazuma, Megumin, and Darkness. (in order from left to right)

Kazuma:

He is the main protagonist and the only one in the party with a functioning brain cell, which unfortunately makes him the group’s designated sufferer. Kazuma exists to react to everyone else’s nonsense. He also yearns for true gender equality cus he is one of us bois 😹

Aqua:

A self-proclaimed goddess who somehow manages to be both overpowered and completely useless at the same time. Loud and annoying. Aqua causes about 60% of the party’s problems. In shorter words: she’s useless as shit.🥀💔

Megumin:

An explosion-obsessed archwizard who put all her skill points into one spell. Everyone’s favourite character i’d say. ❤️‍🩹

Darkness:

A crusader with insanely high defense, terrible accuracy, and most importantly a pervert.

i’m giving a 9/10 for characters.

Now, for the plot. I shouldn’t really rate it since the series is unfinished, but based on what we have so far, I’ll give it a 7/10.

As I said before, KonoSuba is a parody of isekai, and the plot isn’t very well-defined since it’s a comedy anime. From what I’ve seen, there is a main plot, but only a few episodes feel like they actually contribute to it, the rest is just funny shit, tbh.🫩✌️

But overall, it works.
