I'm Aya from Gaza 🇵🇸… I’m writing this with a heart that feels broken 💔. Last night, the storm hit us so hard that the rain 🌧️ and wind 💨 collapsed our tent on top of my children 😔. They woke up crying, soaked, and terrified… and we stood in the cold with no shelter at all 🥶.

I try every day to stay strong 💔‍🩹 but life has become heavier than I can carry alone. Prices are unbearable, and I can’t even provide the simplest things anymore—food 🍞, clothes 👕, warmth 🧣… nothing.

I’m reaching out with so much shame 😞 but with a mother’s hope that someone out there might feel our pain. If you can help us with anything—even a small amount—it could bring a little safety and comfort to my children 🤲😭.

I am a woman from Palestine Gaza 🇵🇸.

I once had a modest but loving home with my husband, Mohammad, and our four children: Mahmoud, Somaya, Mostafa, and little Sila.

Our house was small, but it held our world — filled with warmth, laughter, and dreams.

Mohammad worked as a tailor, using his hands to stitch dignity into our days, providing just enough for us to live in peace.

But in a single, brutal moment… everything disappeared.

An airstrike hit our neighborhood.

Our home collapsed under the force of the explosion.😭💔

We escaped with nothing — not clothes, not memories, not even the toys my children cherished.

Mohammad’s tailor shop was demolished by Israeli bulldozers, leaving him without work, without tools, without hope.

Now, we live in a torn, fragile tent.

It doesn’t shield us from the cold.

It doesn’t protect my children from hunger or fear.

Rain seeps in. The nights are long and cruel. My children cry themselves to sleep.

I am a mother who cannot provide warmth, food, or safety.

I watch them suffer — I hear their tiny whispers asking when we’ll go home again… and I have no answers.

I am Alaa😓.

I don’t ask for much.

Just a chance to live with dignity again.

Just a moment of mercy.

Each morning, we wake up to colder weather than the day before, and to a tent weaker than yesterday—one that can barely protect us from wind and rain.

Winter is becoming more severe, the cold seeps in from every side,

and our fragile tents were never meant to shelter us… only to expose how vulnerable we are to this cruel reality.

❄️ and the fear that everything might collapse over our heads follows us every moment.

Every passing day brings more exhaustion and deeper worry.

We have nothing left but patience and prayers that a kind hand will reach us before tomorrow becomes even harder than today.

We urgently need help now—

warm blankets, heating, stronger tents… anything that can give my children a chance to survive this merciless cold.

israel is preparing for a ground invasion of Gaza City very, very soon – they are killing and forcibly displacing people in Northern Gaza with full impunity. even using bomb carrying drones (pictures) & armoured vehicles on civilians / civilian infrastructure.

as of just a few days ago, it was announced that initial stages of israeli attacks on Gaza City are underway. the israeli army says that they are " operating with great force on the outskirts of Gaza City " ...

the cursed army also stated that, " the local tactical pause in military activity will not apply to the area of Gaza City, which constitutes a dangerous combat zone "

– over ONE MILLION people are currently residing in less than 30% of Gaza City.

israel has called up some 60,000 reservists for this operation already.

according to UNICEF, " the unthinkable " has arrived in Gaza City.

the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned on wednesday that further intensification of the continued offensive on Gaza City, amid ongoing famine, will push civilians – already battered and bereaved – into an even deeper catastrophe that world leaders must act decisively to prevent.

Sahar ( @saharfamily22 ) is from Gaza, and her area has recieved an evacuation order.

she has a child, a young daughter who is only a few months old. her daughter has no access to proper nutrition, water / milk, clothes, shelter or even saftey.

she has reached out to me, and told me about her pain, and how afraid she is.

in Gaza, death is everywhere, every single day, at every corner. could you imagine ?

how has the world become desensitised or accustomed to a live streamed extermination campaign, a holocaust ? for that i really have no answer.
