The next chapter (or 2 idk yet) for Below is the climax/inciting incident for the falling action and resolution to the story, and I have basically 2 pathways to go.

The first one is good, it delivers well, and I feel relatively confident the resolution can work with it.

The SECOND one though…is SO good. So much better and more intense.

The problem: IM SCARED????? to write the second option.

This is because it will involve creating detailed descriptions of a VERY SPECIFIC AND INTENSE FEAR OF MINE and every time I’m trying to envision the events I freak myself out and can’t think about it 😭😭😭

This is the dumbest shit fr like I wanna push myself to write this thing that I specifically find incredibly unsettling and genuinely scary, and the narrative payoff will be really good, but then my stupid animal brain gets too scared to think it through enough to write it 💀
