Urubu was abandoned at a young age and left to fend for himself in his gloomy, overcrowded hometown. He started with simple begging and picking pockets, but soon learned that he could use his pretty face and natural charm to persuade people into being more hospitable. He began honing any skills that would aid his efforts to captivate the people who used to shun him. By early adulthood, Urubu could deftly play most musical instruments, perform a myriad of party tricks and had even taught himself a handful of magical cantrips. 

He had become a minor local celebrity, and his ego was not unaffected. He was now arrogant, gaudy, greedy and brusque, and though he was preoccupied with his own wealth, status and appearance, he was also a hopeless romantic and obsessed with the concept of a soul mate. 

i gave my asshole bard Urubu an npc love interest in our d&d campaign and she turned out to be neutral evil and fucked out of the party, and now my team has to deal with an apathetic bard with mild depression lmao

he’s so upset and demotivated that when he got 1 point of piercing damage for walking into a bramble on the way up some kind of Pyramid of Knowledge, he fucking planted his ass on the steps and refused to keep going

the best part is, even though his love interest actually attempted to mind control another player into murdering him, he would 10000000% turn on his party if she came back and pretended to be interested in him
