are you shining just for me?

on a sunny june 10th, fern murphy came into the world, just minutes before finn. an absent father that she idolised, fern grew up full of resentment and anger, gracing their father with the silent treatment when he was away, begging for his attention when he was home. 

when their father started bonding with finn through music, fern vowed to never need their father for anything. she started posting covers on youube, befriending her brothers band until they became her family, finn teaching her guitar, she even toured with them, only performing a handful of times but glad to share the experience and be along for the ride.

her adulthood hit, and all the stress with it, falling in love and a tricky relationship and love triange with finn’s band later, and fern ran away to la with her best friend, spending a year bringing her album out and touring, trying to heal her broken heart (no luck there.) when she came back from her tour, she started sending tapes to studios, and before she knew it, she’d joined the cast of the og vamps as daniella claya.
