Alright, I'm back on my shit, and am once again soliciting advice so I don't look like a total numbskull. I'm currently writing something based off of what I was talking about in a previous post, but the gist is instructing musical variety via a character with outside knowledge into a society who barely got past the drum and basic singing.
I am DESPERATE for advice on what a good all round instrument is that isn't a guitar/banjo. I have been banging my head against this wall for several days because it's the driving force of the entire plot, but I can't think of anything that would both survive in volcanic winter conditions AND be used in multiple kinds of music. Any sort of advice would be great!
Hey, so relating to the previous post I need help finding songs from the 1970s-2008 that have the extremely niche position of being both feasible in a live setting and not requiring any electronic implements, any level of niche or strange is acceptable, and preferred, and as a bonus either fit very well or very poorly into a setting with minimal musical culture and understanding of modern metaphors.
TLDR: Live music without electronics suggestions!
I was wondering if anyone knew of any instruments appearing in the game, as I was struck with an idea relating to the introduction of music into the setting. However, after several hours of feverish searching, the only daigetic music I could find includes humming, a radio (???), bells, and the weird living accordion that Brumm uses.
Music is something that basically every single civilization has, yet Hallownest doesn't even have drums. Am I simply missing out on something huge or are there really not even a facsimile of basic instruments to the level of even a trumpet?
how is there so little charbiter in a franchise with several million players and like. 6. successful titles I've gone through practically everything in an afternoon help
