Champions League final, Liverpool vs Tottenham

He clutches the Tottenham pendant tight as he crosses the pitch. Hendo greets him with a wolffish smile, standing confident and self assured. While the referees shake hands, the Liverpool captain’s gaze wanders Pochettino before his eyes sets on Harry again. Harry tries not to loose his focus and Hendo’s smile grows wider.

After they exchange pendants, Hendo forms an almost circle with his hand and moves his wrist back and forth. It’s small and barely noticeable. Anyone who plays super close attention will think he’s stretching. Harry is the only one who needs to know. Doorknob. Anyone gets a turn.

Harry doesn’t say anything. He knows it’s true.

Please tell me about hot German boyfriend

So this one! You may know that IRL, James Hunt and Niki Lauda shared a flat in London when they were young racers starting out. Broke and hopeful and just so wonderful for fic.

Hot German Boyfriend happens when James insists they get a phone. He says it's so teams and potential sponsors can get hold of them, but really he wants to phone girls. Niki finally agrees.

One day James is at home, and the phone rings, and it's a man speaking with what James thinks is a German accent, asking for Niki. James takes a message but is inwardly fuming as the phone never rings for Niki.

He "forgets" to pass on the message.

The man calls again. He's persistent.

James assumes he must be Niki's secret Hot German Boyfriend.

He doesn't know why this bothers him. He has no problem with chaps like that. Knew a few at school. He just didn't think that Niki... and surely if Niki was that way, he'd be interested in James before some random German guy... not that James would be interested back, he'd have to let him down gently. Ahem.

Anyway, this escalates in James's head until he finally snaps and asks Niki why he won't introduce James to his hot German Boyfriend, does he think James is some country bumpkin who doesn't know these things happen, they might even be friends, if Niki would just give it a chance. Is he afraid James will steal his HGB because he wouldn't, no way, though the accent is hot...

And Niki points out calmly that the caller is his brother.

Who of course speaks with what James thinks is a German accent. Because he's Austrian. Like Niki.

And James feels a right prat.

And somehow kissing happens.
