i wish people in fandom spaces wouldn't couch the (alleged) crimes of creators in such vague terms. "Gaiman is controversial right now" NO, Gaiman has been accused of rape by several women. "DC probably won't reprint a lot of 90s green lantern because Gerard Jones is problematic." NO, Gerard Jones was convicted of possession of child pornography. "controversial" and "problematic" do not accurately convey what is going on remotely and if anything play down what these people have done.

let’s be real the pressure to use AI as an adult is exactly what they said the pressure the do drugs as a teenager would be like but the people that told us that caved immediately for the AI and definitely did not just say no

sometimes u go to a ship’s ao3 page and the top 10 fics are like “what if these guys were 2 completely different guys but had the same actors’ faces and character names”

idk I can tell that some tumblrinas are not up on fat politics because I see a lot of people saying stuff like “it’s better to be a little fat than waste your life trying to be thin” or like “it’s chic to have a little belly” like okay but there are fat people who are “a lot fat” and have “a lot of belly” which everyone is weirdly silent on all the time. Like the fattest person on earth still deserves to exist in human society with joy and dignity regardless of how they got to that weight or how many health conditions they have as a result of their personal actions…that should be everyone’s baseline here I’m not really sure what’s complicated about it
