She couldn’t help her smile, looking up at the night sky. Watching him sit next to her, Chou couldn’t help study him a little. She hugged her legs together, resting her head on her knees. “You’re kind.”

“Hmm... I’m not sure if I would call myself kind... Well, at least not before I met Kagome. After meeting her I changed, that I’m offering you help like this proved that she really has an impact on me somehow.” The wolf demon said and leaned back, laying down on the grass.

All the wolves growled at her for the interruption. Ayame didn’t appear to care she stormed over to them. “I don’t care! You promised me this day not this bitch!! I challenge her to a fight for you!” The wolves gasped at her audacity.

Koga looked down a little gingerly, even though he couldn’t see what the stranger looked like his scent and the sound of his voice told him this had to be a young male. The feral guy bit his lowerlip and pulled a twig from his hair. “I live in the forest... When I heard ya coming near I went up in the trees.” Koga explained and took  a step back when he could hear that the young man picked something up, probably his weapon. “I was going after the boar as well...” Right then his stomach rumbled loudly, a little embarrassed Koga turned away from the other and put a hand on his empty stomach. He must look like quite the strange apparition to the others, several twigs and leaves were stuck in his raven hair, some long locks must have escaped the tied up style he always wore. Mud smeared all over his face and his blue eyes devoid of pupils.

A voice at the entrance of the cave proved her wrong though, “I heard this was happening today! How dare you go through with this!” Ayame stood there hands on her hips.

Miroku patted him reassuringly on the shoulder before taking his own seat. Everyone turned expectedly to the door as Kagome stepped through and slowly started to walk toward Koga with a smile on her face. She was so nervous but he was standing there before her looking so handsome.

“A little but I’m also really excited.” She bit her lip with a smile. “I’m ready to be Koga’s wife, more than ready.” The girl looked over and took a deep breath. “You two are going to have to go out there soon it will start soon.”

Koga waited, standing in front of the main stage. He was really nervous somehow...

“How do I look Sango? Shinju?” Kagome turned around she was wearing a long white kimono with gentle little flowers on it, and a cloak of white fur on her back. Her hair was in a simple up do with her bangs framing her face, and a gentle veil over her face on her head.

Sango mostly tended to her babies, but she did help when it came time to get Kagome dressed and ready. Miroku as much as he wanted to escape helping was being forced to help by Inuyasha and Sango. Wolves bustled around decorating, cooking, and getting other things ready.

Her face was pressed against his neck as she nuzzled into his warmth. “All is right with the world I’m in your arms again.” Feeling sleepy again now that he was holding her and she felt secure and loved, she yawned. “Mmmm we have a busy day ahead of us.”

With a moan she melted into the kiss and his arms as she kissed him back just as deeply. Eventually she pulled back to catch her breath, “Let’s never do this again.”

She was taken back at his gesture, but was happy she wasn’t hoisted over his shoulder again. Her hands kept to her chest, not wanting to be thrown off balance. The breeze was indeed nice, nodding in agreement. “When it’s nice out, I don’t mind sleeping under the stars.”

Kagomes head turned towards Koga. One brown teary eye peered at him through her hair. “Why didn’t you just tell me he was alive?” Actually it had come to a point for her that she was moving on from her love for the half demon. She would in a sense always love him. He was important to her. But at the same time she had already began to move on with her life.

Koga then leaned back again. What was he doing? Defending Inuyasha... Robbing himself of his own chances... How stupid he was...

It makes sense.
