Tiffany Aching (Terry Pratchett's Discworld): MY FAVORITE CHARACTER OF ALL TIME FROM ANYTHING, IF YOU CARE. She's me she's so literally me. I read these books as I was growing up, and from about book 3 onward I made sure to always read the next book in her series when we were the same age. Tiffany is so brilliant both as a fictional character in her own right, and as a reflection of what it's like to be a young woman growing up and finding her footing as a person. She's flawed, she's determined, selfish, compassionate, brutal and fair. She's a witch who gets it done! I love her more than words can say, and she has deeply affected the way I approach the world.

Kate Wetherall (Mysterious Benedict Society): One of the first fictional characters I dressed up as for Halloween. I always loved physically strong characters and Kate was so charming and fun for little Nettle. She also had some of the best humor in the series.

Rouge Amendiares (Cyberpunk 2077): she's hot. Okay. I have deeper reasons for liking her, but I will be honest here and say that I need that old woman bad. She's so awesome, though. I love how haunted she is by her past and how she is both ruthless and powerful but wracked with guilt and self-hatred. Flavor container. Girl, please, I could treat you so right hit my line please—
