hey brothers!!! guess what! this 16 yr old black queer girl (me) just got accepted to stanford’s summer session!!!!!!!!!! i’m from brooklyn, new york and i grew up in a single parent household with my two sisters, both of which my mom put through four years of college (by herself). this is my absolute dream school, and i never would have thought that i would get accepted. but i did and i’m honestly still losing my shit. they gave me a grant for 8 thousand dollars, for which i am eternally grateful, but it only covers a fraction of the tuition. i still need 7 thousand dollars to be able to go to stanford and to better myself. i have big dreams that i can not achieve without this opportunity. not only am i black, but i’m gay. and a woman !! (lmao) i think i’m getting off topic but if you could please donate/rb/share, i would really appreciate it.
