πππ ππππππππ ππ πππππ has released a personal statement as she completed the Three Peaks Challenge this weekend to help spread her message of hope about life during and after cancer, while raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity | 28 JUNE 2026
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales- Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) all within 24 hours.
The Princess was welcomed at the finish by all her family.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of people in this country hear the words no one wants to hear. What follows is a path that tests every part of who we are: physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. The challenges ripple outwards, touching families, friendships, work and the quiet moments we spend alone with our thoughts. Β Cancer doesnβt just affect the body. It changes how you think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life. I know this personally, and that the journey through and beyond treatment requires more than medicine alone. Β I have taken on the National Three Peaks Challenge, not simply as a physical endeavour but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back. The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life changing for so many people. Β Through this challenge, I want to raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare. Every individual is different, and ensuring there is a whole person approach to care enables those living through cancer to manage the deeply personal challenge of diagnosis. Holistic therapies complement clinical pathways and support patientsβ ability to maintain their wellbeing, resilience and quality of life during an exceptionally difficult time.Β Β Β We have an opportunity to reshape what the future of holistic cancer care looks like, enabling more people, nationwide, to access the kind of personalised support that can help make a meaningful difference during and after medical treatment. Β This challenge will support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, helping to transform access to, and understanding of, holistic care that will enhance recovery and healing for patients across the UK. Β Healing, whether personal or collective, is not just about fixing what is wrong. It is about finding balance in how we live. Between effort and acceptance, between control and trust, between thinking and simply being. Because in the end, bravery isnβt just about pushing forward. It is about knowing how to stay grounded, connected and present, no matter the terrain, or landscape you are walking through. Β Together, we can stand alongside everyone navigating life with cancer, ensuring no one faces this disease feeling unseen or unsupported. Β Please know you are not alone. Β C

I find myself reflecting on how deeply grateful I am. For the rivers within us flow with ease, fears washed away, cleansed and purified, come to peace with our tears and discover what it is to be alive.

For serious. Or just.....holding Kate accountable for anything instead of infantilizing her. The 'work' she does is a joke, and I fully believe that's why Megan had to go - she wanted to work, she wanted to make an impact, and she did more in the 2 years that she was there than Kate's done in nearly 20. They're so unserious.
---via a comment of Meredith Constant's substack.
----------------
One, the "infantilizing" and "what work does she do??" comments are intended to belittle and dismiss Kate. It also does not show a good understanding of her role as the Princess of Wales and the BRF's role in the UK government, or soft power diplomacy. Kate's role is not the same as that of a US senator or congresswoman. It just isn't constructed that way.
The press has never infantilized Kate, at least not to the point the Sussex stans claim. That's revisionist history--they harassed her throughout the 2000s. The press and tabloid culture were far worse in the 2000s than when Meghan came on the scene in 2016. They were nasty in the 2010s. They are still classist and snide about Kate and the Middletons. And pro-Sussex commenters will never admit this, they don't want to have an honest conversation and examine their sexism--but "where is Kate" was straight up hateful and misogynistic.
And hold her accountable? For what? Honestly--what has Kate done in 20 years that warrants a press attack of "holding her accountable"? Not getting along with her sister-in-law? Having cancer and wanting to maintain her right to privacy? Oh wow, call the Hague!
Last, FYI: Kate is the future queen. She is the top. She was not ~*jealous*~. And Meghan chose to leave, and 6 YEARS ON, her cookbook and wardrobe work does not compare to Kate's Early Years work. Nor does Archewell's work; the 990s to IRS show it. They do not have the same scope or influence as the Royal Foundation at this point. If the Sussexes actually cared and put in real work, it could. Meghan stated that she is not interested in politics right now. She did more work around As Ever and With Love, Meghan in 2025 than she did for charity. These are all facts.
SO UNSERIOUS.

Kensington Palace released the πππ πππππ' 2025 Christmas Card | 18 DECEMBER 2025
The photo was taken by Josh Shinner in April 2025 and was released alongside a special message :
Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas.
I know youβve briefly talked about the βWalesβ brand, that while some of the more problematic figures in the BRF seem to be scrambling to fix their reputations, William and Catherine appear pretty unaffected. But what I find most interesting is, the brand Catherine herself has built, her reputation seems completely untouched. What do you think contributes to that? Or do you see it that way too?
I think it's a combination of a few things.
First, Kate doesn't speak to the press and she doesn't court the public's attention. This is like 90% of the BRF's problems - people who like the attention so they compete for headlines, brief the press, and send associates like their hairdresser or close friends to brief the press. Kate doesn't do that - she literally just shows up, does the job, then goes home to her kids; it's refreshingly normal for someone so A-List these days.
Second, Kate has only ever been herself and fame hasn't changed who she fundamentally is, and we can see that. More often than not, when someone becomes famous - whether it's long-term fame and popularity like Kate has or it's 10 minutes of fame or it's a flash in the pan viral moment - that sort of attention changes them. They get desperate to hold onto it or they get used to the privileges and it changes them. That never happened to Kate, that we know of. Who we see her as today is exactly the girl we were introduced to in 2003 - someone who cherishes her family, values her time outdoors, who likes to help, who gives back, etc.
Third, Kate doesn't have any real scandals and whenever she does make a rare misstep, she learns from it and does better. I can think of only three scandals involving Kate: the bum dresses (which she fixed with dress weights, longer hemlines, and heavier fabrics), KateGate (which wasn't even her fault to begin with), and the Mother's Day photo (for which she took full accountability). And technically, these aren't even real scandals, in my opinion - they're mistakes.
There are probably other things and people may have different opinions too, but this is how (and where) I see Kate excelling in terms of reputation management where others in the BRF fail; she doesn't make a fuss, fame hasn't changed her, and she learns from her mistakes. That's rare. I'd say the only other person on that level as far as reputation management goes these days is Edward - it's not Sophie, because she has a semiannual PR cycle; it's not Anne, who doesn't so much as learn from mistakes or missteps as much as she blows past it; it's definitely not Yorkies, Sussexes, and Charles and Camilla, who're all obsessed with their publicity. And William speaks to the press, albeit carefully and strategically.
She's in a league of her own, really, and the public understands that. The public is smart - they know when they're being lied to and when they're being fed a PR narrative. Kate hasn't/doesn't do either.
(I mean, she does talk a lot about "being keen" and then nothing ever materializes, but on the scale of BRF, that's like promising cookies for dessert but ending up with dry and sandy vegan crackers.)
