Adrianna Smith, a 30 year old Black woman and a nurse who was failed by the very health care system that ignored her medical needs, was nine weeks pregnant. She was legally declared brain dead and the hospital doctors decided to keep her body functioning on life support to full term so they could "save her baby" because of Georgia's abortion laws.

Because of this her family was unable to put her to rest as the hospital basically held Adrianna's pregnant corpse hostage for this experiment to play out.

Now her son was cut via C section from her corpse. Only 1 lb in the NICU.

Do you know what this means? It doesn't matter now if you're dead, they'll get that baby out of you somehow, fetus or not.

- women who call themselves lesbians but actively choose to date and sleep with men

- women who are catty and mean to other women and will do anything for male attention

- women who have faked DID, a personality disorder, or Tourette’s for attention

- famous women who have done misogynistic or degrading things

- women who are generally abrasive or combative

Trans people are again once more at a higher risk to get raped - including at a young age. "Corrective rape" against us is happening fairly often, just as we - even as young people - have to fear people using "trans panic" as an excuse to rape and kill us.

Also, nobody is doubting that femicide exists. It is just that the transphobes very much doubt and question that we (= all trans people) are getting killed more than cis women are, at least in comparison to how few people we are.

And transphobes do push for laws that WILL LITERALLY KILL US. So yeah, sorry that we are not nice about that.

i never said that all trans people “believe child sexual exploitation is great.” never have i ever said anything even close to that, not in this post and not in any other.

what i DID say was people who claim to be representative of the trans community as a whole constantly reply to my posts about about child marriage with comments like “who cares” and my posts about rape saying things that imply that if i dont want to be raped i should change my belief system.

before and after saying that i go out of my way to clarify that i do NOT believe that the trans community as a whole thinks this way, and i go out of my way to say how horrible it is that these people with these view points are often the only interaction the tumblr feminist community and the tumblr trans community (or at least the people who claim to be part of it) ever have with each other.

i say that i wish there could be more open non hostile conversation between the two communities because the lack of it prevents each side from ever understanding and sympathizing with what the other side experiences and how those experiences effect our social and political beliefs.

i say that i dont believe that the whole trans community wants me to be raped and murdered (despite being told this) and in response people tell me im a bigot and deserve to be told these things because i acknowledge the people that say these things to me.

i say that both sides deserve empathy and understanding and the only way to do this is through open communication, and in response members of the trans community and members of the radfem community alike say that the other side is to extreme and far gone to deserve to be heard out.

you dont have to believe that people say those things to me, you dont have to believe that i really want positive change or that my intentions are truly pure, but every time you purposefully assume the worst out of someone and ignore their attempts to reach out and find things to connect on you push us farther and farther away from ever being able to stop fighting each other and start making meaningful change for both groups.

and this isnt directed at the person in the reply. this is directed at every person who assumes an entire group is evil without even bothering to let them show you what they truly believe and why.
