Besides the obvious fact that representation is important, we need to give Dick and Damian tan/brown skin because, honestly? I'm tired of mixing them up with their white ass brothers.

Like, I'll see a random panel on Twitter from a run I haven't read yet, and I'll be like "oh! short, pale skin, black hair, that's Tim!" and then IT'S NOT??? IT'S DAMIAN??? HUH???

If the run doesn't want to add differences between the brothers like eye color, hair texture, streaks in hair, nose shape, scars, that's fine! You're keeping it simple, but hey! A slight height difference isn't enough! So... why not make it easier for everyone and simply make Dick and Damian just a handful of shakes darker than their brothers? Is that really too hard?

Idk what person with chronic illness needs to hear this, but you can do things to make your responsibilities nicer for yourself. You can get an ice cream after a blood draw. You can sit down for tv time after an injection. You can pick out the bandaids that have cartoon characters on them instead of the plain ones. Being an adult doesn’t stop you from benefiting from encouragement. Go for whatever fits with your routine/abilities/budget and makes life a little better. A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down etc etc

I'd hate to be Duke because by the time he establishments himself as Signal and starts living at the manor, he's missed out on a LOT. And come on, lets be real, ppl in the batfamily are probably just randomly mentioning/referencing the most batshit insane lore, and he just has to. Move on because they simply don't have the time to explain the context.

Like, it has to be wild to learn that Damian had his spine replaced, and Tim doesn't have a spleen because of an argument they were having. It would be nuts to hear that Steph's dad is Cluemaster and Cass's mom is Lady Shiva because of a story Dick was telling. Honestly, anything about Jason after he got revived has to be crazyyyy to learn about (Like Superboy Prime resurrected him? Huh?!)

Duke would have to quickly learn an insane poker face because man... being thrown headfirst into a buckwild story without the most baffled look being plastered on your face would be... difficult to say the least

Also! To add onto this! Most of the batfamily have been in each other's lives for YEARS, meaning Duke lacks context to how things came to be and why their dynamics are the way that they are.

Like OK. Steph and Damian definitely act like siblings, but Tim and Steph aren't? Barbara dated Dick, but also, she kinda co-parented Cass with Bruce at some point? Jason and Dick just kinda fistfight and bicker sometimes, but they (kinda??) seem undeniably close? But at the same time, Jason and Cass just kinda glare at each other sometimes, but it's clear that they (maybe???) have some issues with each other?

All I'm saying is that it would be a mess and a half to figure out. And as he's inching closer to it all making sense, reality would hit Duke. He now has to figure out HIS place with everyone, and god. That would have to be a pain.
