Raising spiderlings, watching them grow from a speck to hand sized and seeing the gradual transformation to adult coloration and mating them and raising their spiderlings again. Probably the most rewarding aspect of the hobby. 😁🎉🎊

Once your tarantula has emerged from its old skin, it will be extremely soft, tender and sensitive. If you handle your tarantula, do not do so for at least a week after it has molted. Make sure the spider has fresh water, do not attempt to feed your spider for at least three days after molting because it can possibly harm or injure your tarantula. One amazing thing associated with the molting process of tarantulas is the regeneration properties. If the spider is missing a leg it can be regenerated during the molting process. Hi, im a pale pinkish-brown bodied tarantula with a distinct black triangle on top of my carapace, pointing toward my abdomen. Im a spider with a nice velvet black colour with red hairs on my patella and tibia and a black abdomen with red hairs. My hairs are so sensitive to touch and vibrations. I am so calm and docile. those who are unfamiliar with the hobby of tarantula keeping often assume that such large spiders pose a significant danger to a human bitten by one.. however, though the assumption seems logical, the reality is a bit different.. lucky he's still a juvenile and this specie posses a very low venom potency... dropped him a roach to fed him but he just jumped right after into my finger and bit me and he kinda enjoyed it like a vampire, with an unquenchable thirst for human blood lol... it was about 5mins like i was given a chance to film it before he realized that 1 human is just a lil bit too much for a meal hahah... to much for that, i will baptized you "Vlad".. nice name whatjathink? boom panes! #tarantulasofinstagram #spider_house_gallery #fang_gang #spiders #tarantulabites #tarantulas
