I wish you love me like how I still love you.
Faust’s lips pursed tight, chest tightening painfully into a knot as the words wash over his entire being. He cares, he always does and he had never stopped caring, and he wished that there was someway else to let the other know how he feels after making a decision that changed everything a while ago. Things like these are what he couldn’t say out loud simply because he’s not specifically good at letting out his feelings and string them together into coherent words, no matter how he would like to try.
You know I always do, he would want to say, but instead he just heaves a sigh and only mustering up a smile.
“Silly little one.”
