           What was it like to love her? Painful. Excruciating. Sickening. It was like willingly drinking poison and enjoying every drop. She wasn’t an angel, she wasn’t some peaceful ticket to a future beyond this shit hole. She was alive, and angry; passionate and broken. She loathed having to save everyone, because in the end it meant she couldn’t save herself.  She wanted to be selfish and hateful; yearned to be anything other than a day dream for those around her. She wanted to be sharp glass and spurs that lodged into your skin and left reminders, and she was. Loving her was like holding your breath and waiting for the sun to shine in a black hole.
