And yet, I was left in the abyss. Bleeding. Taking forms that I was sure they would have won one day but the last one killed the innocent sanity in me. We are all enemies to ourselves but someone taught us to be the first enemy of love. Romantic one. I am. I do. I fiercely am now. I may try to visit inside of me the 12 years old or the 18 years old me or also the 22 years old me and remind their kind and beautiful taste of desiring a tiny little secret love where they would have written to God “Thank you” feeling alive. But it’s not like this. I come to visit all of them and sometimes I cry. I’ve always known I was here to meet a soul, specific one. Not a single time I felt belonging here truly, just the urge of escaping everything. And now? What’s left? A “me” in an abyss? Many hands can save you… not every one of them can make you want to stay here anyways. And not every one… can feel your soul. Sometimes you just search for just one being, and you keep on. But if the taste is bitter with “nothingness”, well… what a waste of soul.
