You do not have to be a fire for every mountain blocking you. You could be a water and soft river your way to freedom too.

There are some things about myself I can't explain to anyone. There are some things I don't understand at all.

And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.

Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All that blood was never once beautiful. It was always just red.

“We are in the car and it’s 3 a.m. And my cheeks are warm and my lips are numb. You rolled the car windows down a smidge so my hair would blow in the cool early morning breeze. Our elbows were touching and we sat in a comfortable silence for most of the thirty minute drive. Only love by Ben Howard started softly playing through the speakers and I could hear you humming quietly to yourself, your fingers lightly tapping the steering wheel and just like that the three words id kept hidden for so long blurted out of my mouth “I love you.” An uncomfortable silence settled around the now slowly moving vehicle and all you could say back was “I knew. I always knew. I could see it in your eyes when i walk in the room.” And then you didn’t say it back.”
