I see quite a few "Time and Wars knew each other before the events of Linked Universe"
And occasionally I see "Wind and Wars knew each other before the events of Linked Universe"
But I don't think enough people take into account the much funnier, and possibly angstier third option; "Time and Wind knew each other before Linked Universe"
So hear me out.
Wind has a younger sister, so during the events of Hyrule Warriors he treated Time like a younger brother. He looked out for him, and more importantly, he took every chance he could to prank him.
Cut to a few years later and they're in the Linked Universe story. With Time now being the oldest person in the chain.
Everyone treats Time like their dad. Wars treats him like a peer/twin.
Then there's Wind.
Wind is absolutely dumbfounded as to how Time stole his big brother status. And even worse. Time is much taller than him now (trust me, as someone with siblings height is very important).
So while everyone treats Time as the leader of the group, Wind is over here trying to prank Time and annoy him as much as he did during the first time they met.
And Time is getting back at him by playing the "who's the big brother now?" card
