these kpop demon hunters fans on tiktok gmfu. so many of them have clearly never been in a fandom, and they are complaining abt nsfw of 'a kids movie' when the characters are confirmed to all be 18+. i saw somebody tell an artist to 'please leave this fandom' because the posted nsfw with a warning.
PSA, if you dont understand/respect fandom culture, you dont get to dictate it. have respect for creators especially, they are what keeps fandoms going.
being in a new fandom is nice and dandy bc you see new headcannons and number of fanfics go up in real time; from fucking under 3 digitd to 219 [i see you dispatch, this is about you]; and the enjoyment from refreshing the ao3 to find 3 more fics and seeing one of those hits up your alley is breaking through the fucking roof
BUT
damn you if you want a specific trope and PEOPLE didn't write it yet, or worse - wrote it but with the ship you don't have interest so you wallow in self pity; you don't wanna write it yourself hoping other fantastic writers step up but the more you wait the more pressed you are to write when YOU DIDNT BOUGHT THE GAME YET AND WANT TO BE FRIKKING ACCURATE but also trying to AVOID THE SPOILERS; not that working by the way
