In the latest episode of Fan Service, without even really saying it directly Yssa summed up the headcanons problem in RWBY, people come up with their own ideas through fanfics and during hiatus’, becoming so entrenched in and attached to their headcanons that they think these are what the show is supposed to do or is obligated to do, and then when the show doesn’t align with their headcanon they get mad at the show for not doing such and claim that its “bad writing”
